I am a 170 lb male who was looking for a super comfortable bouncy springy bike seat - this is it.I purchased a Rad Mini 4 fat tire bike and didn't want to purchase a suspension seat post - but wanted comfort on rough gravel and rocky roads. I ride upright and don't need a racing seat.The forums all indicated that the Cloud 9 seat was the way to go so I bought one and immediately returned it after trying it. The springs were way too stiff (people tell you to adjust the springs but then they are still too stiff AND also rattle because the seat doesn't look like the springs are meant to be adjusted).This seat has a single coil spring on each side which is perfect for my weight - it is springy without bottoming out all the time. I happened to already have a seat with the elastomer suspension - they just don't move enough to cushion the blows of running over rocks - so I knew I wanted an actual metal spring.This seat was also the same width (8") as the seat that came on my bike originally which is a great width (I have a folding bike - larger is not better). The cloud 9 was also wider and bulkier and didn't fit my body size.Padding on this seat feels great - the relief in the center is adequate for my sensitive area to not be sore after a 15 mile ride on a rough path.Pros:Single spring per side provides good bounce and cushioning for a 170 lb person.Padding on seat is plenty soft.Good medium size - large enough for me to sit on more like a seat - small enough that it doesn't feel jumbo.Price was great.No squeaking or noises out of it at all.Cons:Probably not a good seat for a heavier person - may bottom out on large bumps.Not good for someone looking for a stable seat for harder pedaling - being on springs the seat will move and rock back and forth if you shift your weight. (This is actually a pro for me - but wanted to warn people)Materials are appropriate for the price - but I don't expect this seat to be with me forever . . .

We had just purchased ebikes and the seat was hard as a rock!!! We can finally bike longer but the seat was so bad we couldn't do more then 5-6 miles. We each got this seat and WOW. Game changer indeed. The seat is very comfortable. I'm still adjusting it until I get it perfect but I'm no longer riding "one cheek" on the seat due to pain! I love the little seat cover too incase it does rain it keeps the seat dry but not sure I will really need it. I would buy it again. Really enjoying the comfort of this seat.

I bought this as a more comfortable seat for my 05' Specialized Hardrock Sport mtb. My bike is by far a high end one but it's still not a "Walmart bike" as I call them, it has a real bike seat post. This seat arrives with a bracket/adapter attached to the under side which must be removed prior to installation on a decent bike seat post. Once that is sorted out it is a really comfortable seat.
