I am impressed with the design and quality of the kit at this price level. I have not used the probes extensively yet, but the parts seem to be well made and should last for a long time without being subjected to abuse. As stated, this kit is well suited for PC board and prototype circuitry work at a bench. Although they may be suitable for field work, I cannot attest to their durability in a more demanding environment. Great value for the price.

It was a great price for how often I will using it. So far, it's worked exceptionally well.

Unfortunately, you have to change tips on the main probes, utilizing a tiny wrench, to switch between several of the different ends. The grabbers aren't the hook style and use a little jumper wire to hook up. Interchangeable ends sounds nicer than it is. I would have been better off to get separate leads. But the quality is pretty good and if you don't require switching back and forth on ends they would work pretty good.

I use my multimeter primarily for automotive although I do use it for other work as well. These really help out a lot. You don't realize how much you need a kit like this until you have it and are using it pretty much anytime you are using your meter for anything. I also bought a set of screw in wire taps that work well with this kit. The leads are soft and flexible and change out the tips generally does not require the wrench unless you are really trying to get optimal reading and need the tips to be really tight. For 99% of the work I do I just finger tighten the tips and that is all I need. I am really happy with the purchase.

I really wanted to like this set because it adds a very nice variety of probes and leads. As a hobbyist, I don't mind changing tips as a trade-off for the affordable price. Unfortunately, some tips slid right off, and there's one set that I never managed to get on anywhere. The slip-on scheme is unnecessarily complicated; this tip goes on that one, but this one goes on the other one, and this one goes on the banana plug,... so, reluctantly, I returned it in favor of a similar set that seems easier to use (Bionso).

These probes work very well, the fine tips are just what you need for trouble shooting small surface mount components.

The work very well. My ONLY gripe is that it is difficult to switch between pin probe and alligator tip probe. You must first change the very tip end of the probe, (using a micro miniature wrench, Included), Then slipping on the alternate tip type. Great if you never need to change tip type.
