I am impressed with the design and quality of the kit at this price level. I have not used the probes extensively yet, but the parts seem to be well made and should last for a long time without being subjected to abuse. As stated, this kit is well suited for PC board and prototype circuitry work at a bench. Although they may be suitable for field work, I cannot attest to their durability in a more demanding environment. Great value for the price.

Main lead set is great. Do not buy without a case for your leads and meter if you work in the field. Many of these pieces are delicate and wont hold up floating around loosely. The case they give you is really tiny. The long test pins are great if you work in the field. I can test with getting close to three-phase contactors running 440v.

This is nice and complete set. I haven’t used all the leads yet but smallest leads that i do use for continuity checks in electrical harnesses in the automotive industry work very well.

Tons of options for different probing strategies. handles are rigid for the full length and the cables are semi flexible. Probably not what you want for a professional lab setup but for any DIY / Educational setup it is perfect

OK, maybe you do get what you pay for and I didn't pay much. You get a lot of tool for your money, there's a probe, clip, or adapter for everything. It's just that the part quality is, well, cheap. If you want a set of components to last a lifetime then pay 10 times as much and get Snap-On or Matco, etc. These will do the job if used intermittently for a few years. If you depend on them every day, keep looking.

I use my multimeter primarily for automotive although I do use it for other work as well. These really help out a lot. You don't realize how much you need a kit like this until you have it and are using it pretty much anytime you are using your meter for anything. I also bought a set of screw in wire taps that work well with this kit. The leads are soft and flexible and change out the tips generally does not require the wrench unless you are really trying to get optimal reading and need the tips to be really tight. For 99% of the work I do I just finger tighten the tips and that is all I need. I am really happy with the purchase.

It was a great price for how often I will using it. So far, it's worked exceptionally well.
