My favorite sort of tea!
I didn’t expect to like it this much, but it’s now part of my daily routine. Whether you’re new to Pu-erh or a tea lover looking for something rich and grounding, this one's definitely worth trying it.

The real tea
This tea is fermented. There are two ways of fermenting tea. One is to age for several years and the other is to do it quickly through a chemical process. While sellers will say that there is no difference, anyone drinking the tea will immediately see the difference. T that is fermented by aging is darker, Richer, and more bold. While slightly more expensive, this tea is aged fermented and significantly better than the cheaper brands. Highly recommended if you’d like pu urh tea .

A nice tea
Providing you take the time to properly learn how to prepare this tea the resulting liquor will be very palatable and refreshing. Good tea takes time but its worth every second. Always do a rinse before brewing and the results will be excellent.

Love this tea!
Love this tea, very smooth not bitter at all. Was a little disappointed I did not get the tea needle, but that was very minor.

Aged 5 months, not 9 years :(
The media could not be loaded. BUYER BEWARE.Seller claim… “Aged to Perfection: This cake shaped ripe pu'erh tea has been aged nearly 9 years, allowing the flavors to develop and improve”.However, the production date on the one I received is from Oct 28, 2024 which is only aged 5 months and still has that terrible FISH ODOR making it not drinkable.

Authentic and nice bo lei tea.
For those from Hong Kong...this is known as bo lei and this brings many memories from childhood. This tea cake did not include the tea needle but it is easy enough to break some off with your hands. I accidentally put way too much and it was a very dark and rich flavor, I prefer it a lot milder so that initial brew ended up providing about 3 tea pots more of tea. The flavor is distinctly different for those who are familiar with Earl Grey and the such. It is a nice flavor that cleanses the palette after dim sum. A little goes a long way so use sparingly and this tea cake will last for a long time.
