A top notch "Table Top" tripod
I've owned / used many tripods, including various table top tripods; this is definitely the most versatile table top tripod I've come across thus far. Here are my basic thoughts:a: Size: basically refer to the specs, but this may be a tad big compared to the traditional table top tripod... and it's definitely more hefty due to the robust construction. This can all be good or bad... based on your needs. For me, the above is fine in that I'll would sacrifice a bit of weight and size for more versatility. Unlike the usual table top tripod, this one will extend, both via legs and center column, thus increasing versatility. Furthermore, it'll completely go flat (or near flat is so desired).b: Construction: rock solidc: re: ballhead: it's not the most elegant ballhead, but it works well and in that all of my cameras are Arca Swiss, this is a no brainer.

feels heavy in hand and quite sturdy to support my Fujifilm X-T10 plus a zoom lens ...
This is actually a well made tripod, feels heavy in hand and quite sturdy to support my Fujifilm X-T10 plus a zoom lens (weighs about 690g). The QR plate feels solid, legs are easy to extend/retract, big ball head is easy to lock/unlock. The enclosed bag is a thin plastic bag that offers no protection, be sure to have a divider in between the tripod and other equipment. The only thing I would like to clarify here is the specs (based on my measurements), the folded size is 8.5" not 7.2" as stated in the description or 7.9" in the listed spec sheet, and the fully extended height is 19.25" (48.9cm vs. stated 44cm) which is a plus. Folded size is not a big deal, I just need to change a bigger bag to carry this tripod. I am taking this tripod to experience sub zero temperature, I will see how it performs.

Sturdy enough to hold a 4.6 lb spotting scope
I needed a mini/desktop tripod for my Celestron 100mm spotting scope and the first two bipods I tried out weren't sturdy enough to support the 4.6 lb scope and felt as if they were made for phones or similar lightweight devices. The AFAITH tripod was a little more expensive than my previous purchases, but the difference was immediately noticeable. After I mounted the spotting scope, the tripod felt firm and there was no wobble. And when I loosened and tightened the ball head to point the scope up or down, unlike other tripods, the scope actually remained where I pointed it instead of drooping down. The quick release plate made it easy to get the scope setup and for such a solid tripod, it's very light and collapsed into about the size of a 6" sub sandwich. Great product.

portable tripod
It’s well constructed, heavy and sturdy. It came with hex key for adjustment and a carrying case. It stands from 9.5" to 11.5" with leg folded and to 19.5" with legs extended. It allows 360 degrees articulation for panorama. Bubble level doesn't work and is useless. Legs angle can be extended out in two positions and center column can be mounted in up or down position for lower to the ground macros. It is easy to fold or extend with one hand but quick release plate is clumsy and hard to remove. I bought because it's easy to carry and I can get full length tripod height by standing it on rock, table or anything other object that I can find and since it’s sturdy and heavy, I don't have to worry about it getting tipped.

Love it - but...
Great little travel tripod. I was looking for something small to put in my camera bag and this is perfect. I like the fact that you can extend the legs out to get really low to the ground. Seems well constructed and the ball head movement and locking are solid. Great for a lot of different situations.**UPDATE** After a couple months of using it one of the legs wouldn't retract anymore. AFAITH's customer service was HORRIBLE, but luckily I went to Amazon and they took care of the issue for me on the return. The leg retraction system is a twist and lock and I can't see how these will last you a very long time if you use it quite a bit. Buyer beware

Quite sturdy and easy to use
When I got this tripod, I feel it's not light. But It's really solid. I can use it to support my DSLR when traveling. The legs are easy to extend and retract. All the joints are easy to lock and unlock. When I'm lazy to bring my profession tripod (especially when I don't have a check-in luggage), I'll bring this. Not like the other cheap items, this tripod can be trusted.

I'm using this tripod to support a range finder scope ...
I'm using this tripod to support a range finder scope. The scope is large, but this small tripod is exactly what I was looking for. Shooting prone and using the scope to confirm a target hit is difficult when you have to change your position. With this small tripod, I can bring the scope down low enough that all I have to do is move my head to the side. The tripod is rock-solid and able to handle a large scope or camera. A great product worth having.

IT IS VERY WELL CONSTRUCTED & CONCEPTUALLY WELL DESIGNED.
AT THE LOWEST HEIGHT THE SPREAD ANGLE IS NOT GREATENOUGH THE SUSTAIN MY HEAVY SPOTTING SCOPE. IT'S ACAMERA TRI-POD, SO IF YOU HAVE A LARGE LENS & ARE USINGTHE LOWEST HEIGHT, MAKE VERY SURE ONE LEG IS DIRECTLYUNDER THE LENS OR IT WILL TIP OVER. IT IS VERY WELL CONSTRUCTED& CONCEPTUALLY WELL DESIGNED.

Such a shame.
Unfortunately I've had to modify my earlier very positive review. For the first time today I raised the head to its full height and the spindle fell in two, I just managed to save my camera hitting the floor. This is due to extremely poor machining of the threads where the centre spindle joins together. They could be pushed in and out without even twisting, they were so loose. I've glued the two halves of the spindle together to prevent this happening again but it can no longer be removed, meaning the inverted configuration is not now possible. I'll attempt to contact Amazon to see if the manufacturer will send a spare spindle and will update this report as necessary. It's such a shame that this great little tripod has been let down by poor machining and lack of Quality Control, whoever assembled this during manufacture could not have failed to notice the problem. As with all photography accessories though, cheap as this tripod is, if I'd have not caught my camera that would have been over £1000 worth gone West.........Sorry but I can't recommend this now in the light of the current failure, anyone with this type of tripod I suggest you check these threads before mounting your expensive gear on it.

A Brilliant Mini-tripod
I purchased this tripod for my Canon series digital camera and it is the perfect accessory for eliminating camera shake. It is easy to use and is the perfect partner for close up work.

Issue with thread on centre column!
The tripod arrived to day, on initial inspection I was impressed by the build quality. On closer inspection I noticed an issue with the centre column. The thread does not binned. This will be a result of either poor machining or over tightening. This issue was raised by another reviewer in 2020! I will be contacting Amazon with a view to obtaining a replacement part or alternatively exchanging the entire tripod.

A Cracking little Tripod.
The mini tripod arrived a day before it was due. For a small tripod the AFAITH is absolutely solid and sturdy and holds my camera with no problems. Would recommended it to anyone.
