Excellent quality tool for the great outdoors.
This is a good quality and size. It's good value for money and easy to use. The needle movement is smooth and accurate. It came in a nice secure protective bag, I really like it and I am sure to get lots of use out of it.

Amazon seem to have several different named compasses that appear to be identical apart from price; I got this one which was £12.50. For the most part, this is a much more solid and well-made instrument than I expected for the money. The metal is sturdy, the compass movement is smooth and well damped; the sighting lens and read-out are clear and accurate. Then we come to the inclinometer, a tinny little fold-out that looks like it was an afterthought. The simple metal pendulum tends to catch unless you get the plate absolutely vertical. It's accurate enough, fit for purpose, just looks rather out of place considering the quality of the rest of the device.

For very little cash you get a very well made compass. The bezel is smith the inclination meter is a great touch. Robust build. After playing with it it’s accurate. Well worth the cash.

Looks well made but clinometer can be a problem
Looks nice and well made, but the clinometer appeared to get jammed in the bezel, and wouldn't open. When it did open the clinometer pendulum was bent. Not what I was expecting. i've not used it outside yet. Compass still appears to work. I'll be removing the clinometer as it no longer works.
