I used this seat for the first time today and let me tell you that after a 27 mile ride, i feel absolutely no pain! I ride on dirt trails, usually do about 20+ miles a ride and the conventional seat i had on my Giant Sedona would always leave me in a lot of pain after long rides. It felt great today not having to go through such pain again, great purchase and i definitely do recommend.

After a couple of months of enjoying the rides, I decided it was time to upgrade my bike seat to something that I could sit on for longer durations of time without going numb. This seat is definitely an improvement over my old seat that came with the bike! It’s design is sleek and streamlined and each detail is well thought out to support the rider and give optimal comfort. I prefer this narrow seat design to the old, oversized saddle, the larger size always felt like it was in the way of my pedaling, and I had to wear padded bike shorts to avoid chafing. No need to wear the padding now! The seat itself is so comfortable, soft and cushiony instead of the harder seat I had put up with! And the space that is cut out in the center of the seat is great, not only providing air flow, but also even more comfort by removing the cause of pressure and pressing against the seat while cycling, that often used to leave me feeling numb. Even better, the installation of this seat was extremely easy: old one removed, new one in, took less than a couple of minutes! I’m very happy with my purchase—the seat is attractive and sporty, very comfortable, and really affordable for the high quality! It’s been a wonderful addition to my workout!

There was a split seam on the first one that arrived, which I believe was a fluke of manufacturing. The material wasn't torn, just the stitches popped out. Decided to give it a shot with replacement because it does seem like it will be nice. Fortunately they did send the replacement before receiving this one back, so at least that is being processed quickly. *UPDATE* Received the replacement the very next day with no defects. Wow that was much faster shipping the second time around. This seat feels WAY better than my old seat. The the tube-clamp can be easily moved forward or backwards on the rails, tilted to adjust for the seat-tube angle, or removed entirely if you have a different clamp you prefer to use. Aside from the initial defective product, the only thing I could fault this seat for is a minor cosmetic issue. When I moved the clamp the first time, it either scuffed the rails or the paint on the rails underneath had fused to the paint on the clamp. Either way, functions fine and at this price it is an excellent value.

Love this seat. I bought it for my road bike. I have gone on a few 40- 50 mile ride without any discomfort. Totally worth the price.

I got this seat to replace the stock seat on my wife’s bike. She was always complaining about how it didn’t fit right and she was in pain after a ride. This seat was very inexpensive and easy to install on the existing seat post. She is much happier with this seat and no longer had post-ride pain. The gel inserts are very good because they conform to your specific shape. It’s also waterproof and hasn’t been damaged by leaving it outside overnight in the rain one time by accident.

I started riding MB again after a very very long time.You see as you get older, there are less muscles down there to support your weight to cushion this sometimes hard saddles.I chose this for now just to ride longer on my bike with butt hurts 😩I will still get those bike underwear pads but for now I’m having fun with thisDid I mention that the shipping was quick tooThanks for reading and happy riding

I have had the excuse of not riding my bike for years due to the uncomfortable seat. Since I have made this a goal for the year, I figured I better take away the excuse and buy a new seat. However until I know that I will stick to my goal, I didn't want to spend much.It has been snowing here so I have not been able to go far on the new seat but already it is 10x Better than what I had. The shape and cushion are comfortable and it was not hard to put on my bike. I cannot wait to take this out for a longer bike ride.

[OCT 2020 UPDATE: Ridden for 1200km and 56 hrs. No complaints other than the occasional back stiffness every now and then (not every ride which is a good thing), but that's likely just a result of getting older ;). I make a point to stretch my shoulders and back when stopped at lights similar to a "cow pose" by putting my hands together behind my back and pulling down which helps along with changing riding positions (hands in drops, hoods, pedaling out of the saddle).]I've used this saddle on my 2009 Giant Defy 2 road bike for ~900km and another 320km on a 2009/2010 Masi 3VC. My longest ride was 54km (about 2 hrs ride time) with other rides in the 15/20/30/40km range (avg ride around 30km). This saddle weight 375g without the metal seat clamp which is how I am using it since my bike uses the double rails.It's a very comfortable saddle to ride on. I just have to be aware to rest my sit bones on the padded gel part of the saddle. Sometimes I'll be a bit too forward after riding out of the saddle or after resuming from a stop and don't sit back down in the right position which would cause a bit of discomfort in the perineum area. Once I'm seated properly, it's a cushy ride.I tried a clone of what looks like the Specialized Power saddle which was very light and stiff. It was comfortable until I went over rough or bumpy sections of road. I wouldn't want my rear to have to endure the road vibrations and bumps on long rides. At my age (40s), I need some extra cushioning plus I've got a slight scoliosis which resulted in a painful bulging disc in my lower spinal cord many years ago (could be a result of riding too far, bad saddle, and/or weak back muscles - physio/weight training has helped).I also tried a similar SGODDE saddle without the raised gel areas, but didn't find it as comfortable either due to the shape of the rear part of the saddle or because of the raised gel areas provide more support.This one was the keeper of the three saddles I tried out.

The seat arrived when they said it would and was very easy to install. This seat has given me the ability to actually enjoy riding my bike again. The seat is sooooo comfortable for us ladies. when using my original bike seat I would be sore for days after and would never want to ride my bike. This seat has made a complete difference in my comfort and I can now ride for hours in comfort. If your hate your bike seat you need to get this one, do not delay!

I don't understand how a bike seat can get damaged this badly, but it was... and it was ALLOWED to be sent to customers.Opened the box and I notice a very large cut on the left side of the seat. Now I have to return it and try to get another one that isn't defective to test it out.

I'm 5'11 220lbs. I took this on a 200km bike ride. The most i was doing was 70kms a day. Wearing bike shorts it just really wasn't that comfortable. I would say the first 30kms were generally fine but then again my OEM bike seat also felt fine for the first 30kms. A bit disappointing considering all the great reviews.
