I was skeptic about the quality of this product but I figured to give it a try, I left it outside under the sun for a couple hours and to my surprise this darn thing actually works pretty good. I have it laid on my tea tree bush with the solar panel sitting on top and it will last a couple hours and the good thing about it is that I don’t even need to turn it off since it’s solar powered! it has different colors and patterns which was pretty neat. If you want to get into the holiday spirit without going crazy this is what I would recommend!

It was tricky to unwind the lights, especially since I didn’t see the twist tie, because it was the same black color as the wires. I would recommend that the company change the color of the twist tie to any color but black.Once I got these lights up and they lit up automatically when the sun went down, I was thrilled! It was a little difficult to pin the panel to my porch rail because the angle is very tight to the panel and nails were not included, but once I got them up, they were lovely! It's nice to have something that just works straight from the sun, all by itself!

The lights came in a box that was in a plastic delivery envelope. The box was very flimsy and did not withstand the riggers of shipping. I was very relieved to find that the lights were not harmed. The bulbs are about 2 - 3 inches long and the cord appears to be durable. I am very pleased with the apparent quality. I simply hung them up and was able to easily attach the solar panel to the small stake, press the power button, and voila! done! I can't wait to see them lit up. I will update the review with my impression after lit!

For starters the package arrived as pictured. Christmas light box that wasn't sealed. Looked as if it was a returned item from the way the lights were wound and the fact that piece that inserts into the control unit to connect the stake was missing. I find the lights don't come on until it is very dark and they are quite dim.Update: Stopped working 3 months after purchase.

I am pleasantly surprised at how long they will run on a single charge. There are several different settings depending on the look you want. They are also rugged enough to survive outside in the brutal cold, wet winters around here. A surprisingly good buy.

Even at full charge, these lights are very dim, and should only be used for decoration as fairy lights and not to light an outdoor area. In addition, after only a couple of months, a portion of lights on the string went dead. This is the second string of lights we got from this company, and they both had portions of the string go dead after only used a short time. If I had kept the shipping boxes, I would have returned them, but since I didn't, I'll consider it lesson learned.

This was my first time using solar Christmas lights. They looked very nice and we received several compliments on these lights. I live in Arizona so we get more sun than most but if you can’t get the chargers to face the sun you won’t be happy with these lights. We had a couple of rainy/overcast days and the lights either didn’t stay on for long or not at all. Every day with full sun, they last from dusk to dawn. I went back for more and ended up with six boxes of these lights. They also have different modes to flash or stay lit and if you prefer a button to turn on/off.

The lights appear to work upon arrival, though they hardly provide a “twinkling” effect. It’s more like a neurotic flashing, an alternating half on/half off “blinking”, all on or all off. They arrived stuffed into a generic amazon envelope with no other packaging, inserts or anything and the ground stake was missing.Only time will tell if they last for any length of time.
