Mityvac Fluid Evacuator/Brake Bleeder, Pneumatic

I bought the PneumaticVac after the Dodge dealership informed me they wanted several hundred dollars for my 30k mile service in my Diesel Ram.The PneumaticVac performs as advertised, I used the middle sized plastic hose and one of the same diameter but longer I had to buy. It seemed this size was the fastest from under my truck. I set the compressor at about 100psi.This Vac couldn't hold my motor oil for me because my truck contains nearly 12 quarts from empty and this vac doesnt have that much capacity. But in the last few years I worked out a deal with a local garage for motor oil changes.In my adventure I found that most any garage or parts store will take used uncontaminated oil. (no anti-freeze)The hardware could have been a better design but like I said it worked & saved me money. This vac saved me many times it's own cost in my first use.I might sell this one as used & buy the deluxe model 07201 shown on Sears online, perhaps Amazon has this model as well. It looks much more rugged and as if it might have more uses than mine.I wasn't very happy about running my portable compressor for so long each time I used it. Not to mention long winded neighbors ears tend to perk up at sounds like the start up of a compressor... Next thing you know you've got an audience with verbal diarrhea.I needed a longer tube, dish deteregent, a hose, & a role of paper towels for that unforeseen last drop that was present in the tube when I put the mightyvac away. (oh, and I could have used a decent pair of ear plugs or a 100lb dog for the neighbors)

I bought this one year ago and have used it several times on cars,mowers and alike. It a back saver. My wifes MB SLK300's oil filter is mounted on the top of the engine so I never touch the ground when changing her oil. Like the other reviews, I bought longer suction tubes right away. Otherwise I had to set the tank on a cinder block to get the tubing to reach. It works on my 2012 F-150 and my wifes car however my sons 2003 Impalla has some kind of lip or stop that will not allow the suction tubing into the oil pan. Not even the smallest tubing will go. If you're thinking about purchasing this product, I would suggest trying to insert 1/4" to 3/8" tubing into the oil pan via the dip stick tube just to be sure it can be done. Other wise it's a little pricey for what it is but I would recommend this product and would buy again.

This is Exactally what your looking for if you care to remove gas - and even old gas - for small engine gas tanks. most others cannot do this for very long, because most others have a moving piston pump and that has rubber o-rings. not this one. this uses an air venturi, with no moving parts to create a strong vacuume. i have used this nearly every day for a year, and it just keeps doing its job. gas, oil, liquids... and no moving parts. the unit also wont overflow - it stops before its 100% full.the other mityvac units have hand pumps, and i cannot say if those can handle gas or not - most cannot. this will. i have drained the old gas (which is far more caustic than fresh gas) from small engine equipment like lawn mowers and snow blowers and its never even hiccupped. i recomend this to all my friends who use this sort of thing. you can remove the oil from a lawn mower without using the drain plug.it was worth every penny.

I have already used my Mityvac to remove oil from my lawn mower and my truck transmission. It works great! The air shut off valve doesn't work too well but does not affect the performance of the machine. Thank you,Patrick D

Wish I had gotten this sooner! This the easiest way to change your motor oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid or brake fluid. It's quick and easy and with out the mess! Everything is done from top and you do not have to crawl under the car. My motor hold 8 quarts of oil and it sucked it dry in less than 5 minutes. The in tire oil change was done in 10 minutes. If you need longer hoses or different sizes, you can get them the hard ware store for Less than a dollar a foot.Great product and I Highly Recommend it!
