I bought a tall cover and a regular cover for Christmas gifts. Work like a dream, keeping the inside of the microwave clean and saving on countless paper towels used to prevent splashes.

I was sitting in my room reading when all of a sudden I heard glass shatter. Ran to where I thought it to be when I discovered this glass plate cover shattered in bits and pieces. I jumped onto Amazon to see this product's page and saw that other people experienced the same and that it also happened recently!Amazon should immediately recall and notify anyone who previously ordered this microwave plate cover! Also, what happened to the good reviews of this product when I bought it? It was at 4+ stars (with a lot of reviews) and now is miraculously at a 2.5. I will not buy another product from this company, I hope those with the smaller design don't experience the same!

We use it three or four times a day. It does the job, love the taller design.Wouldn't want to be without it.

The vendor needs to relocate the cover vent hole. On several occasions when I tried to lift the lid covering a microwave frying pan I didn't notice that there was steam issuing from the vent hole and burnt my wrist from the issuing steam. A better location for the hole would be farther down the side well away from the top knob.

After using this item in the microwave, it shattered into hundreds of very tiny sharp pieces. I called Amazon, and in order to receive a refund, I had to send the broken glass back to them. Making it more dangerous after I had already thrown it into the garbage. I personaly don't think it was necessary to send the broken glass back, it should had been suffice to send the pictures. Be aware, do not buy.

Great item. This item replaces a plastic type which cracked after much use. Wish it were a little deeper though.

I like how it vent when cooking. Covers a dinner size plate.

Looks real nice, had my doubts, but thought they would not make a glass plate cover unless it is safe. Used it a few times and in less than a week after purchase I was heating a plate of food, standard 2.5 mins @ 70% power, it finished and when I opened the microwave door it basically exploded and shattered into hundreds of tiny pieces.... would not buy again EVER
