Assembly required, but great final product
Arrived as requested/scheduled. After assembly, it looks just like it is pictured. It should be noted, however, that it is quite the assembly; All parts were provided; The pre-drilled holes lined up; Instructions were a bit confusing at times, but Finished product looks and works great! Very pleased!

Nightmare/regret, avoid, Keyboard Tray Falls On Floor
Not a fan of this desk at all, and as you can see from most of the reviews, nobody is. Reasons are: You will need a lot of time to assemble if you are a noob like me, and a reasonable level of skill and patience both of which I lack considerably. I am still in the process of figuring out the instructions and putting it together after several hours (no experience). One hour of time to unpackage and clean up all the styrofoam junk that broke off the styrofoam sheets. The wood panels rubbed against the styrofoam and thousands of tiny sytrofoam pieces were electrostatically clinging to all the wood panels, a pain to deal with. Unbox outside or somewhere I don't know, its just a pain is all I can say. For the most part nothing appeared to be damaged in shipping, just some minor scuffs here and there on the surfaces of the wood. Most of the damage will probably occur while you are taking things out of the box and scratching things up. After dealing with the mess, and hoping you aren't scratching stuff up while moving pieces around came the annoying time of identifying all the parts in the box, which consisted of counting and separating different screw types that look almost identical. It reminded me of days on an assembly line sorting out parts to put into a bag and seal them up. It would have been nice to have some of the parts separated in their own bags. Its at that point but probably earlier you wanted to return this thing or pay a professional to install it and are regretting your purchase. If you still want to continue assembling yourself, then you have the nightmare of trying to read the instructions. I have no idea how many more hours this will take. But just making this review wasted another 15 minutes to complain about it.Okay Update 2After Taking all weekend to put together, I am lowering my review from a 2 to a 1. The keyboard tray doesn't work because the weak wooden dowels and plastic screw things are useless at supporting the weight of the wood. Had to end up drilling holes through the top of the desk all over to keep the legs from buckling. The Cabinet Portion isn't even big enough to fit a computer inside once all the wires are plugged into the back. Had to get a drill, and some bits, and wood screws and ruler to measure. Drilled through the side of the wood legs, and desk tops and added wood screw to keep everything together, because all the dowels and plastic screws are useless. Have no faith in the metal bracket holding the desk up in the middle either, and made another leg to keep it reinforced.

Buy only if you are very comfortable with assembling
Yikes, the instructions and hardware are a pain! Hardware is crap and instructions are literally misleading. After a trip to a hardware store and improving fastening on bolts and h-clamps, and lots of focused patience I've got a sturdy, well functioning desk. I'm happy with the outcome. But I also enjoy assembling and trouble-shooting these things. If you don't know how to improve the hardware, and how to adapt/improve instructions, your desk will be flimsy.

Disappointed. Old Style Desk & not all parts fit together properly.
All the parts did not fit together properly. Also note this is an out dated desk style. Side Door is for OLD CPU, it lacks good usage due to the fact this is a tall compartment without shelving.Several of the parts did not fit together properly. Keyboard drawer/slider had several issues. Per the instructions the metal bars with the wheels had to be put on in the opposite direction from the instructions to slide into piece on the the main part of the desk. The pre-drilled holes were not in the correct location for the metal pieces. Then when we went to put the keyboard drawer on it fell right out off. We tried to make adjustments such as if screws were too tight. That was not the case. We had to add additional pieces of wood to make close the gap so the keyboard drawer would work.Several of the lock pieces that are supposed to screw into the desk simply dropped in. I thought once we locked them in to the other piece they would expand and hold together. That also was not the case, so several pieces will need to be reenforced for stability.I would return the product, but that seems like a huge project in itself to take the entire desk apart try to rewrap. This item needed 2 people to move and would be costly to return.

Great Product, Great Supplier.
Desk is sturdy and beautiful! I took the advice from another reviewer and used liquid nails on all the dowels and panel joints. Took my time. After assembly was complete, I let it sit overnight before loading, to allow the adhesive to harden up. End product was rigid and solid. There were reviewers who had trouble with the keyboard tray jumping the track. I prevented this by installing a narrow strip of 1/4" luan, spanning the two side rails (30"), pulling them together tightly. This keeps the wooden side rails from flexing out, keeps slide linkage tight, and prevents the drawer from dropping off it's track during hard use. I'm glad I read the reviews here, to pick up pointers.Side note on the Supplier: My package came (shipper) damaged. I found one large panel damaged. Upon calling Susie at Inval, she immediately shipped me a replacement, no need to send photos or to prove the damage. That meant a lot, because returning the unit would have been a nightmare.
