Prochaska Gallery Hand Blown Glass Whale Figurine 3.5

I bought this beautiful whale for a 3rd grade teacher that retired at my school.She always told her 3rd graders that they would "eat a whale" just like Melinda Mae in the Shel Silverstein poem. (Because of the fact there is a lot to learn in 3rd grade) She was my son's 3rd grade teacher as well.I bought her this whale because I likened it to the fact that she has indeed accomplished this same task throughout her teaching career.This amazing whale made such an impression on her. The liquid gold that runs through the crystal reflects the light and creates an array of colors. It brought tears to her eyes. She says it is one of her "prized possessions".It is absolutely amazing!

I bought this whale figurine along with the polar bear one as a wedding cake toppers for a wedding that I am making for some friends this weekend. He is a polar bear and she is a gracious blue whale :) I am pretty sure they will like it as much as I do. They're beautiful!

It is sitting nicely in my glass cabinet.
