Well balanced and better control of the ball
I bought this Esper Paddle because of all the high ratings. I couldn't agree more with all the positive ratings. I found the paddle to be well balanced and felt like I could control the ball better. I was also able to put some spin on the ball. I consider that a real positive when using a pickleball paddle of any kind. The handle fits comfortably in my hand ( I wear a mens medium/large golf glove if that helps someone determine if the handle will fit their hand). There's also an extra wrap band that is included if you want to attach it for someone with a larger hand. The paddle seems to be well made. I've used it at least 10 times for 1-2 hours. It's still like new.

This is a great pickleball paddle, lightweight and durable with a textured finish.
I have been using this Esper pickleball paddle for two weeks. It is lightweight and feels natural in my hand. Very well built and durable. The textured finish helps with my spin shots. Back spin helps win points. The handle grip is high quality and very comfortable to hold. This pickleball paddle is much better than the one I have been using for the past 3 years. I play an average of 4 times a week. I would recommend this paddle.

great balance and feel
In addition to the racquet having great balance, it has exceptional feel. The texture allows for creating spins I was unable to achieve with other racquets. Being lightweight helps when being up at the net and quick reflexes are needed.

The paddle is supposed to be textured for spin. I could not tell any difference in the surface of the paddle.
