Are these good for general practice? I homeschool my son and have no interest in passing a test but would like to challenge him (a gifted child).

Depends on the age of the child. My 3.5 year old kid can answer most of these questions already. I got them to minimize screen time, and I’m not great at imaginative play myself. It may be too easy for someone older. I like the card format because I learned well with flash cards too but they do not teach systematically as in a school curriculum.
