Regency New York Fleece Robe

The good news -- the robe is beautiful, stunning actually, in color. It's also very soft and feels good against the skin. The bad news is -- there is something wrong with the sizing. We ordered an XL to 2XL size for my 180 pound, 86-year old Dad. That's what the sizing sheet recommended. We were actually borderline, but I went with a size up to make sure that he could wear it over other clothes. It fits fine from shoulder to waist, but then below the waist it seems to narrow or shrink. He has to wear his pajama bottoms with it, or else he would flash everybody as he walked around. My Dad does not typically wear an XL let alone a 2XL, but again, since we reviewed the recommendations for size. I was nervous that it would look like a giant garment hanging on him. It sort of does up on top, around the shoulders and the length of the sleeves are too long, but as I said, below the waist it narrows and it barely covers him. Since there are no buttons or zippers to help hold it closed, other than the soft-belt, he does have to wear clothes with it. We wanted him to be able to put it on right after his shower so he could go from shower to his bedroom to get dressed. We've learned simply to wear it with clothes. We wouldn't want to go up another size because the shoulders and sleeves are already too big for him.

I was a little worried when this showed up, because it was sloppily packaged; the robe was stuffed into a clear plastic bag, and the white Amazon bag was mostly open. But the robe was in perfect condition. Bought this for my 90+ year old father, who is on the short side. It fits long on him, but that's what he's anted anyway. It has some substantial weight, is very well made, and is very warm. Dad loves it!

I just bought this for my boyfriend--and he loves it. He is 6'1" and 185 lbs, wide shoulders, 31" waist, athletic build. I ordered the large, although he normally wears medium shirts. It goes down just past his knees and he's able to wrap it around himself comfortably without too much extra material. Fits perfect, very soft, I would recommend.

I love this robe! Never been a robe guy but, I'm in my 30s and I felt it was time for a change. That being said, I love this robe. Warm. A little weight, which is good. Perfect length. The only problem is, it's somewhat larger than I expected. I'm always ify with these things and usually go a size larger than normal. This time, I should have gotten my true size.

This robe is the best robe I’ve ever bought! I’ve always wanted a robe with an oversized hood.. no, not for cult reasons, but because I’m always cold. I’m a 5’4 140lb woman.. I’m on the curvy side, big legs, big booty, etc. I ordered the black one with maroon lining (freakin pretty by the way) and I ordered an xxlarge because I wanted it to be plenty roomy and perfect to curl up in bed with. And it’s perfect. Let’s just say I look like I came straight out of Harry Potter! I love the color, I love that it’s MEGA soft, and I love the big hood, the hood could cover my face if I have the hood on. I would totally order one of these again.I also ordered the hooded one with grey lining for my husband, in an xxxlarge. He’s about 5’9 165-170lbs. His looks like it will also be a perfect fit.Huge thank you to the seller for the most perfect robe!

Very nice quality robe! I was a bit leery about the quality from prior reviews so checked it over carefully AND then washed it and checked again. All the stitching was secure and in place. The robe is a cozy fleece yet not bulky. It's exactly what my son wanted. I was concerned about the sizing and found comments from others helpful. Here are mine: My son is 5'11" and weighs about 150 lbs. I ordered the small/medium. It comes to about the top of his calf, the shoulders do not look like they are falling off of him, and the sleeves are meant to be rolled up. I also liked that it had 2 loops at the waist to run the belt through. There is no inner tie but seems to stay closed for him. I am very happy with this purchase - the sizes helped me find a robe that fit my son better.

This robe is perfect! I needed a robe while at our Florida condo. For the chilly mornings this year, my old lightweight one just wasn’t cutting it. This robe is great! Very comfortable and roomy because I bought one size up from my usual size. I did have to turn a cuff on the sleeves but they don’t bother me. If you want a warm comfortable robe that doesn’t look sissy- this is a good bet!

I originally bought this to have something to wear after getting out of the pool when swimming, but I now find myself wearing this everyday around the house! The material is very soft and it is quite warm as well. The only thing I did notice is that it "sheds" little black pieces, but perhaps once in the dryer will be enough to stop that from happening anymore.Strongly recommend it!
