Wonderful book. So insightful. You will learn so much!

A GREAT study of Revelation. It goes by a chapter each week. Well laid out, helps ppl who have never studied this book have a good foundation to what it’s all about. Some reading is very symbolic, but yet Old Testament ties it together, and if there is still questions, not to worry, God understands. He just wants us to seek. Other info stated is meant for what it says. It’s been a deep and interesting study for our 16+ grp. I enjoy the author who is a well known scholar

Was looking for a study guide and found this. Am on Chapter 14 now so have a pretty good feel for the authors perspective. Good questions follow each introduction which make you dig a little and that is a good thing. Ideal for serious Bible studying.

Good product, but Amazon continues to deliver to wrong address. And, trying to file a grievance or talk to delivery department is a real challenge.

I bought several of N.T. Wright's study guides for our church as we launched a new style of small groups. We used them as launch pads for the small group facilitators in developing their own studies and questions to ask in their groups. They have been a great blessing to us in that process. Wright does a great job of getting at some of meat of scripture in ways that invite people to engage in scripture at a deeper level. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a guide to their group bible study.

As a pastor, I am enjoying this guide to Revelation as a straightforward way of presenting the gospel of Jesus Christin Revelation. This guide does not hide the truth behind talk about the "end times" and "rapture." It seems that everyone misses the point in Revelation. St. John, like the Holy Spirit, points us to Jesus as the Alpha and the Omega, as our Savior and Redeemer. If you need a fairly simple guide to this book (from a Reformed perspective), you can't go wrong here. As a Lutheran pastor, I always enjoy Wright's insights into Scripture.

A helpful tool for planning sessions. It does overlap with the book itself.

I really enjoyed this book and am giving it a 5 star rating as it just lived up to its name,Relation for everyone.It was written in ordinary English that anyone can read, yet it is not a shallow book.I would recommend it for anyone who would like to understand revelation but feels theycan't tackle it on their own. There is a suggestion in the book that you could get a particularcommentary to accompany it. I didn't do that, I just used an on-line bible commentary that I find good, insteadand I found that both authors agreed on nearly everything.I enjoyed the prayers at the end of each section which connected what I had read withour world today.

This bible study course is best done in a group situation so you get a variety of answers to the questions which leads to challenging discussion; but could be completed by an individual. The explanations are clear, the questions are relevant. The theology is sound. It is an intermediate level course, suitable for more mature or experienced Christians. The accompanying commentary 'Revelation for Everyone' provides interesting background information, details and explanations.
