You have to make sure the gears are set properly or it will be difficult to turn, also I had to make sure not to over stuff the basket. I fill it to the point where about two people to have a generous salad. It does its job but the results are not remarkable by any means, I was turning like a manic and couldn't find a semi dry piece. I had to set it on the floor for me to grip it and turn at the same time. Overall the spinner does seem durable, but there must be another with much less trouble.

At first when we bought this we almost returned it because when you tried to turn it the spinnder would come off the track and you'd have to take the lid off to fix it. But we put less in it and now it's fine. Fast shipping.

It makes an awful and loud sound while spinning. The handle pops out out of place while in motion. Which means you have to stop and pop it back on several times for each use.The color and size are it's only saving grace. It at least looks pretty :(

I bought this for my aunt. She seems to use it all the time. Good quality for the price.
