Valuable for specific educational courses
This book was required for a course I was taking in Leadership Principles and ethics. After the course I saw no reason to keep the book. It was not the primary book for the course however it was of value and I did cite the content quite a bit for that specific course. The one thing I got out of this book that will stick with me is that ethics is all about about human conduct, what is and what is not acceptable. It is not about truth, it is about cultural norms and therefore subject to change at the whims of culture. Sometimes I will rent a book and decide I want to keep it because it has information that I find quite valuable and believe I will need it in the future. This is not one of those books. I recommend you rent this book if you are taking a course that requires it.

... use a lot of busy vocabulary to prove he's intelligent. It's really not necessary
This is one of those authors that likes to use a lot of busy vocabulary to prove he's intelligent. It's really not necessary. I used this text only when I had to for the course. It was difficult to see how it pertained to Curriculum and Instruction. Poor choice by the university.

Secular View of Educational Leadership!
The author presents leadership in a secular manner. It is an easy read and was used to compare Christian leadership.
