This is a great UV light! saved me in my windshield repair project by curing the resin with no sun outside. 365nm ray length is what most resins expect and this light did the job! Would like to mention that it gets noticeably hot after 10-15 minutes of nonstop lighting and might need to be cooled down. I did have additional 18650 batteries to get through about 4 cycles of 10 minutes work and 5 cool down. Great build quality, might be a bit expensive but i am happy with the purchase.

I think this is a great little light. 6w is better than the stock cheap LED models out there, but you can also find a 10w on Amazon that's about half this price (hint hint), but is a little bigger. I carry this in my gigbag and use it to 'excite' glow in the dark side markers on my instruments' neck. Solidly built and so far it's holding a charge.The bad news: the rechargeable battery is not a standard size, so it won't fit in your US size battery charger. Luckily I bought a second 10w rechargeable UV flashlight that's got the same battery size and is USB chargeable...So I can charge this one. Random but lucky, otherwise this would be useless

It does all it claims at best!I hope it will keep same high UV brightness as long possible....Despite many of the other UV emitter products fakes in fact.... that are rather tricky dark blue coloured lights, this item can really induce fluorescent effects on pure cotton or also pet urine tracks, helping you find a lot of hard visible scams, amazing !Only a true UV light can do this, for those who still do not know!...I tell you this since I found too many guys commenting positively other similar but faked UV devices, so take care at details, how real UV should be!And keep your eyes protected by real UV glasses!By the way...to be ensafe about real UV protection glasses, test them by UV ray and matching UV detector, firstly in straight line directly, then through the glasses to find if block those rays or not. Also remind that UV waves are more types A,B,C etc depending of their wavelenght and visibility, so firstly UV detector should be same range as UV emitter also matching UV glasses marked with UV type protection!

Great product. I had another LED UV light for leak tracing, and it sort of worked, but had a lot of visible light. I didn't realize how bad that one was until I tried to verify the security features in a $100 bill, it didn't do the job as all the visible light washed out the glowing security strip.This Jaxman light is the real deal though, it works great with almost no visible light which makes it easy to see whatever it is that is supposed to be fluorescing. Having two intensity settings is nice too. The light quickly gets very warm on the high setting, but the low setting is good for most of my uses anyway and stays cool. Extremely happy with this light, and although the price was tough to swallow when I ordered it, it's definitely worth it.

This is an updated review:Mainly this product was purchased for uv photography and fluorescent minerals collection. The item flash light itself is designed and manufactured perfectly, almost carrying it all of the time. Works perfectly even in day light specially for money water mark inspection. I have another 2 uv lights 1 is 395 nm and another one which provide LW and SW uv light, jaxman u1c was better with no doubt.It do get hot if operated for long time continuously so I do switch it off to cool down.My disappointment came from shipping which took forever, almost 2 weeks. I had a problem in getting extra battery which was solved by merchant after contacting him where he provided extra battery and small USB charger.This item worths every dime paid but if shipping speed can be solved!

This thing Rocks!!!! Best small UV I have ever had. Puts out a ton of pure UV. Find Pet Stains, and nasty stuff with ease. My Sweet Wife will not allow me to show her our bathroom or kitchen counter tops. "Let There Be Light" "UV LIGHT".Get one for your self and have fun, but also get Eye Protection, this thing is no joke. Do not let children use this, it is powerful........not that crazy about the Charger and Single Battery.....but it is well build......would purchase again.

Excellent Flood Handheld UV source for 365nm output. This flashlight dramatically lights up all uv reactive materials, exceptional in a dark room. My intended purpose is for hotel inspections while travelling and this will work perfectly. I store the battery separately in a case so no one accidentally grabs this thinking its a standard flash light. The 3w mode is strong enough for a dark room but the 6w overdrive mode can be used in standard lighting making this a very versatile light for UV inspections.

When I first compared this (UV lens in front of a Nichia bulb) to an actual UV LED Infray light, I was disappointed in the brightness, but then I used it in a dark bathroom and WOW... this thing reveals way more UV-sensitive objects than the Infray. Definitely recommend: great build-quality, light pattern (soft flood) and effectiveness.
