Hopefully you'll notice before purchasing that when hung, the "open" side of the pants hanger is "in"! If like me you like to hang your pants on the hanger with the open side facing "out", you will have to hook the hanger from the bottom. It would have been trivial to do it the other way (like my other hangers) but it would have used a bit more metal.

Really well made hangers, built to last. The core is thick, heavy steel wire. The foam covering does a good job of preventing a crosswise wrinkle and keeps the pants from slipping off. The point of the hook has a protective rubber tip.But there's a problem if your closet clothes rod is a standard 1 1/4 inch in diameter. Normally, the inside top of a hanger hook rests freely on the top of the clothes rod. However, on my sample, the hook of these hangers is too narrow, so the rod gets wedged between the sides of the hook. Therefore, you can't scoot the hangers along the rod--they have to be lifted and set down again.On a narrower rod, these hangers should not cause any problems.
