This product is ideal, please don't change!
My cat LOVES this stuff. Here's the story:While visiting a friend in Texas I found a tiny kitten hiding in the yard, about 6 weeks old, all alone and barely able to walk. He was starving to death. I couldn't bear to let him die so I took him in and got him veterinary treatment. However the starvation period as a baby left him with gastrointestinal problems and ever since, he has reacted badly to food with colouring, preservatives or common allergens such as wheat, bran cereals, dairy, soy etc. I could find hypoallergenic food in the USA very easily at an affordable price, however after getting him imported into the UK, I really struggled. After hours and hours of searching various UK brands (Iams, Whiskars, Go-cat, Pruina, Royal Canin - all of these were unsuitable). Finally I found Harringtons, which I believed to be ideal - great ingredients and affordable too! ...Until one day my poor cat began having stomach problems again and when I checked out his food - Lo and behold, Harringtons had quietly changed their ingredients and the food was now full of Maise (corn) cereal. So my search began all over again. Now, finally I've found this. Great ingredients, for an acceptable price. Honestly this is just about on the brink of what I can afford, so please don't raise the price or change the ingredients! It took me hours to find this food! And my cat loves it. I've never seen him so enthusiastic about a dry food before. He even licks up the crumbs.I may try another variety next time however, as the purr-nickety flavour seems to make his litterbox stink pretty terribly. But I'd definitely recommend this brand to anyone. As a bonus, I love the packaging. The design sort of reminds of of a kid's cereal box, which amuses me. Best of all, the bag is so easy to reseal - rather than an awkward ziplock mechanism, this bag uses a very unique plastic velcro to seal shut - much easier to use and really neat!

BEST DRY CAT FOOD - From a Pet Professional
Recommend this food to all my clients, the other one I recommend is Applaws but it can be £5-£10 more expensive per bag. If you get it on sale they're pretty 50/50.BENEFITS:Really high meat content (very important to carnivores!)Very affordableCats love it.Really good quality food, was buying it for about £15 a bag in Jollyes and this stuff seems to be exactly the same.If your cat has been used to eating cheap rubbish like Whiskas, Felix, Gocat etc. they may not immediately jump to this food, it's much less sugary...your cat may be addicted to the sugar of the old food.Mine was addicted to sugar from a lifetime of grazing on cheap cat food.I had to feed a slightly lower quality food, introduce strict meals and transition to this specific food as a next step up for her. Now she loves it and is about 1/3 of the weight she was and SO MUCH HEALTHIER!

Sadly they didn’t like it
Sadly my cats didn’t like it, it’s difficult to rate flavour and ingredient quality unless I eat the biscuits myself 🤔I m getting sick and tired of them, every morning they line up around my bed glaring at me waiting for cat meat...I can’t afford it I go through 100 sachets in a week with the greedy sods. They are addicted.I ve tried royal canin, a range of flavours including protein preference, flavour sensation etc and they will try it and then that’s it...they won’t eat it.This was my last hope until returning back to the only food they seem to like which is the very pricey James well beloved! My main outgoing each months seems to go on the cats...I feel drained from their demands.😔

I enoyed these with a bowl of milk.
The cats preferred to eat them with water.Cat numero uno loved them from the get go, numero dos took some bribery and subterfuge, but now seems to be enjoying them as much as cat numero uno. Numero uno now behaves like 4 year old again rather than the 10 year old he is. It's like he's been taking performance enhancing drugs some mornings.

Brilliant Highly recommended
My cat is almost fifteen and was looking really scrawny and skinny though he ate well. He was on Felix and Whiskas wet food but I read an article about the poor quality protein and additives in these so tried to change him to other far more natural and nutritious wet foods but he just wouldn't eat them. I heard about this so decided to give it a go and he loves it. I'm not happy at only feeding dry food as I believe it strains the kidneys so I mix some with hot water every evening and leave overnight and he eats it mushy in the morning. He then gets it dry throughout the day. In just over a month he looks five years younger with a bright shiny coat and he has really filled out...with muscle and looks like a big powerful Tom cat once more. His breath is also much more pleasant and meals times have become a joy instead of a battle. Highly recommended xxx

Sadly my 3 kitties wouldn't touch it
I'll be honest and state that I purchased the 4kg chicken bag for my 3 kitties (aged: 6, 5 & 4 years old) purely because it was much better value than the Pro Plan and Arden Grange that they normally eat and the price is significantly more. However they wouldn't even touch this, just a sniff and all 3 walked away. Even when we mixed it in with their favourite chicken dry food they wouldn't go near it. Some people say leave it and if they are hungry they'll eat it, but clearly those people do not have cats - as they are generally very fussy about what they like and what they don't like and there's no swaying them to change their minds. This has nothing to do with the quality or taste of the product which may be fantastic, the ingredients appeared to be OK from reading the packaging and there was no awful smell to our human noses (clearly our kitties disagreed), but like any change of food be prepared for them to turn their little noses up at it and accept the failed attempt to keep them happy with a more economical food. Maybe I should have bought a smaller bag first to see how they'd get on with it, but thankfully I was able to donate it to my local rescue centre so all was not lost!
