This is a very well made product. Sturdy, large beads, easy to count by feel in low light. Cord is good quality 550 paracord. The only con I have is the loop isn't long enough to wear this around your neck. If you wear a t-shirt you will have to wear it around your wrist or pin it to your shirt. This is designed to be worn through a button hole. It arrived on time and professionally packaged.

I used these during a rigorous training course. They functioned as they should. If you don't feel inclined to make your own set, these are cheap and durable.

I actually feel sorry for this seller. I don't know why they would deceive people. The beads are NOT bell shaped as shown. They are plain old roundish beads. If I had have wanted 25 cents worth of cheap paracord, 14 roundish beads, and three overhand knots I would have just gone down to the local notions store and done it myself. The paracord isn't even O.D. Green! It's Coyote Brown! Shame on you... It's not even worth the trouble of returning. I'll just give it to some kid.Again, I feel sorry for this seller but either update your photos to reflect the actual product you are selling or expect more reviews just like this.

This is a handy device for keeping track of how many steps one has traveled. I kept losing track using my fingers to count steps once passing the 1,000 mark and wanted to try beads instead. It is suggested to wear the beads looped through a belt loop but I fastened the cord around my wrist instead. Happy to have it!

I was thinking about getting these ranger beads or a different brand, I went with these just because the picture made it seem very very long, and the other was very short. I just received it today (Aug 17) and it isn't the most impressive, but still good quality and for a good price. The bell-shaped beads are exactly what you need for ranger beads, they work way better than round beads, so these do great in that aspect. The rope isn't the stronger or thickest stuff, but it gets the job done. I am not too terrified that it might rip, but there is probably the chance of that happening over time. The length is also a fairly good length, and it fits well around the clasp on my pack.My real only complain is that some of the bell-shaped beads were slightly damaged, which is to be expected since they are plastic but I pay for good quality. And onto my comment on the thickness and strength of the line, I do wish it was slightly bigger.Overall, good product, exactly what I wanted, for a good price. I do recommend.

New to me after all these years. I' thrilled to learn a new trick, ever so useful in my cross country tramping.

The conical beads as shown in the seller's image are what I wanted, but that is not what you get. I wanted the conical beads like military issue, but instead it cam with semi-round beads.
