I had a long window to span. I had to tape the rod at the extension so it wouldn’t move. Otherwise it would fall sort when I tried to open the curtains.

I got this curtain rod to hang two side panels, that were mainly for show but I wanted something that was understated and not too thick.Mine was a wide rod, so there are two side pieces and a middle insert piece. It game with four brackets. I only used two on each end. I could have added the center support but it was not bowing in the middle and the panels I had on there were pretty light weight, so rather than having the support showing I decided to leave it off. I am not sure how you could slide your curtains open and closed if you used all four supports....to me the two on the end are sufficient.I love how the rod looks. The finial does not take up too much room which was a concern for me since I had a tight space with a wall on either side. Very Light weight. Decent quality for the price. It is hard to find a rod that long that is thin (arguably you should have a heavier rod for that length but I have a concrete wall and didn't feel like dealing with putting in new brackets!). I have 4 panels on this and it seems to hold them up fine.

The curtain rod looks good and was easy to install I am very happy with the product.

Easy to install seems sturdy. I needed a 92" rod so I didn't have to extend this one very much. That might make it seem sturdier.
