Wear at your waist, not your hips for best results
NOTE: I wrote this review for the WRONG product. I meant to review it for the Nathan Zipster (not the Hipster. Also, I have an iPhone SE 2020 version with a silicone case and it works great. The Nathan Zipster is great for smaller phones, but I've read that it isn't great for larger phones. But other than that, the rest of the review still stands for the Nathan Zipster (not Hipster, I don't like the Hipster!)I have been running for 30 years. Boston marathon qualifier. I run long periods of time, maybe 2-3 hours at a time for a long run so I need my Airpods and music/podcast since I run solo 95% of the time.Started with SpiBelt, Moved to Flipbelt, then Nathan ZipsterI originally ran with the Spi-belt. It bounced too much for me, but was generally acceptable. I switched to the flipbelt and it was okay, but during a tempo run the phone slipped out and cracked! So then I got the Flipbelt with a zipper and that was my go-to running belt for about 5 years. I found the Nathan belt as a replacement on a trip from a local running shop (because I left my flip belt).I love the feel of the Nathan belt so much more than the flip belt. And it has 2 zippers, one in front and back, so it's perfect for storing phone in front, and gels or Airpod case (because sometimes my buds die and I can recharge them while I get a mile in then pop them back in my ear). Here is the thing I want to say about the fit: I suggest trying to run with this around your waist, not hips. I intentionally have gone for a much smaller size because I like the belt to fit right at my waist under my shirt. The benefit of this is that if you are doing a faster tempo run, it is really annoying to have some pressure on the hips because the belt naturally starts riding up and you are always trying to push it back down. Plus, when the belt is on your hips it seems to disrupt the natural flow of running. Obviously running without anything on one's waist is ideal, but if you want/need to listen to tunes/podcast/news, I think the Nathan Zipster paired with Airpod Pros is about as good a solution as I have found. Best of luck!

Great belt - perfect solution for having your wireless earbud case on you at all times
I will start off by stating, I purchased this belt for a different reason than many. I don't need it to run (if I ever do run w/the belt I'll update my review). I just needed something to keep my wireless earbud case on me at all times and my IPhone 11 when I'm walking, mowing the lawn, etc. (my bluetooth range on my headset just doesn't go that far from the house). This belt is fantastic and more than I could have asked forPROs:-really comfortable - the fabric is soft and stretchy so it's easy to pull on and feels great against your skin-fabric is substantial enough that you don't think your things are going to go flying out of the case. My Iphone 11 feels very secure (but as mentioned, I'm not running0-you can fit ALOT of things in there : I have the aforementioned Iphone11 and wireless earbud case and there is plenty of real estate for more things-Here's the best part, once your things are anchored against your body, you don't feel a thing. Everything feels perfectly weightless, secure with no shifting on the body. You forget your Iphone is on you.I have an IPhone armband case and a case with a clip on belt. Functionally they both work great - they stay on BUT I can feel the Iphone on my arms at all times (and the velcro seems to keep wanting to unattach) and it's difficult to access and as for the clip on, it always drags on my waistline and pulls the pants downwards so I'm hiking them up while trying to mow the lawn (which means I have to release the trigger on my electric lawnmower and restart). Not terrible but not the best. This belt has none of these issues - stays on, doesn't pull on any part of my clothing and everything is so easy to access. As for color, I ended up ordering this aqua because it was 1/2 the price of the others (I would normally order a black or dark charcoal) and LOVE it. I thought I might regret it but it turned out to be a great decision. The color seems to completely disappear underneath my tshirt (I'm wearing a light colored one today) and I think if I had ordered the black, the color would have shown up more underneath my tshirt.Really nicely designed product with superior fabric. And maybe others are more organized but I've got one of those wireless earbuds WITHOUT in ear detection and with those touch sensitive buttons (I miss physical buttons) and unless I've got the case on me, I can't slip the earbud in my pocket as it'll turn itself back on. This has been a nice solution as the earbuds go in and out of my ears at least 20 times a day and I was always trying to find the case - now I just slip the case out of this Nathan belt.

Best for smaller phone
I think this works well for smaller smart phones. My everyday phone is larger and extra sturdy so I didn't feel great using this belt for it.

Fits, holds phone securely
I like options, but I hate armbands and waist belts. I am an endurance and ultrmarathon runner, and I like to have my phone on my for multiple reasons if needed (emergency, checking in on long training runs, music to a single bluetooth earbud, navigation) many folks recommended and swear by Flipbelt, but I'm already familiar with Nathan and I was able to snag a color that was being clearanced for $8 sooo... anyway, I was worried about the fit since I'm between sizes right now. The small fit very nicely, I'm 5'7 and currently 170lbs (overweeeight) and currently fitting a size 31. Ideally, I'm 150-55, size 29-30. It's not too tight, but I can tell it will still fit when I'm back at my ideal weight and size. Phone feels secure since the "pockets" goes up and over. There are 5 pockets and each are large enough to fit at least a Galaxy S7. I took the case off since why would you want to run with it on anyway..Hopefully it holds up to sweat, time will tell and I'll come back and adjust this review accordingly.

Good buy.
I'm a size 9 and I bought a large to mainly carry my insulin pump.I have used SPI with buckles and adjustable sliders that are hard and uncomfortable. This spi belt is super comfy and my insulin pump is secure with multiple pockets to choose. I can finally carry my phone and my insulin pump comfortably.I will be buying other colours.
