I also have the factory disc for the 2009 F650 GS and the thing that I am not too fond of is have to go on a computer and find what I need. I am a manual type of guy and this book is comparable to the factory disc.....no batteries or computer required.

Some of the words may throw you, such as remove the mud guard... mud guard? yea, that is English for the fender.I wanted to change the fork springs so I follow the directions. Afterward I found out I did not have to remove the fairings to do the job. A lot of extra unnecessary work. Some of the instructions cover several models so it takes a little concentration to not get mixed up on what you are doing.

Even if you do not intend to repair your motorcycle by yourself the book will help you to understand what service your bike need.Excelent tips about things to check and adjust who not is just regular service.Earlier I had a Honda and Haynes manual and both gave me 10 year trubblefree riding and the Haynes manual saved me a lot of money.

I've been a motorcyclist for a long time and have had many motorcycles and several Haynes manuals.This is the best one yet. Great pictures and clear step to step instructions. This is clearly better than the factory CD. It actually tells you how to do each maintenace/ repair.I highly recommend it if you want to do your own maintenance.

Great book easy to get the information you want for each task.priced right, hard bound will hold up in the shop.

This manual is just what I was looking for since I have always serviced and repaired my own motorcycles since I started riding in 1960. Even if you don't do your own wrenching, it's a good manual to help you get familiar with the inner workings of your motorcycle.

I have a BMW F650 2012 and its perfect, learned to do lots of things that I didnt know and explains everything pretty well, didnt give it 5 stars just because drawings are on grayscale, and even tho it says the torques at the beginning of each chapter, it would be nicer if the torques where shown on the drawings somehow.really good book!

Si eres de los que le gusta hacer los cuatro arreglos básicos tú mismo este libro es imprescindible.La editorial Haynes suele editar unos libros de taller estupendos, y este no ha sido la excepción, si no todo lo contrario. Muy bien ilustrado y con descripciones paso a paso de todos y cada uno de los procedimientos, tanto de reparaciones corrientes como otras mucho más avanzadas.Todo propietario de una F800 debería tenerlo.
