Best safety device there is for senior living
Iam a senior at 61 yes,and I've found this simple, easy to install security item both practical, easy to operate, and totally cost efficient for seniors on a very tight budget.I live in a 13 floor high rise, where each entry door is 4-5ft apart. The alarm and chime alerts let's everyone on my floor know that someone is about to enter my apartment. The close location of the alarm give me more than enough time to turn it off. Avoiding disturbing my neighbors. The system gets a 5 star rating from me. LEVON MERRITT

This is not a pool or gate open reminder alarm
This can only be used to chime immediately when someone opens a door, or set to have a slight delay to let you turn it off and then sounds loud alarm. Does not have a delay to remind you to close a door. Cheaply made, but it is cheap.

No delays, item delivered as expected. The volume is not adjustable, could be noisy in certain home environments.
Item works as expected. I would like to be able to adjust the volume though, which is why I do not give 5 stars. There were no delays in the delivery and it functions well. Good job from the vendor.I would suggest to the manufacturer to remove the cable and put the magnetic sensor (reed switch?) inside the device itself to simplify installation.

Doesn't work. Can't return as it is outside of 30 day policy. Waste of money.

Great Product!
I use it in my store and its great! It's set for a beeping sound, which alerts us when a customer enters the store. When we leave the store, we set it on the alarm setting.

Doesn’t meet code in Florida for child pool safety act
The alarm has a 6 second delay and no bypass button, so it doesn’t meet Florida code for the child pool safety act. Per Florida code Door/window alarms must sound immediately after the door/window is opened unless a bypass button is hit first and the button just be mounted above a certain height per code. Not UL 2017 certified. I will be returning

Works well, easy to install but I wish there was a volume setting. It is much too loud.
