Caution: several fake reviews for this product, don't fall for it like I did!
No idea why there are so many positive reviews! Total crap, it will not do anything to bugs/mosquitoes even if I leave it on whole night. My front porch regular light with the glass bowl like thing covering it traps and kills more bugs than this thing. Don't waste your money!!

Zaps mosquitos, but there are some limitations you should consider before buying
I installed 2 of these lightbulbs two days ago. I was very skeptical when purchasing, estimating a 50% chance (based on reviews I read) that I would return the product. I've decided to keep them. Here are the pros and cons I've discovered:--- PROS ---- Bright light, suitable for lighting small outdoor areas (I use on my back patio).- Does kill bugs. After only 2 nights there are a couple dozen dead mosquitos trapped in the wires and fallen to the ground.- Low wattage saves money. I replaced existing 75W bulbs with these 10W bulbs.- Blue glow in bulb attracts (human) attention and thus is a good conversation starter. It looks pretty cool.- It comes with a small brush to clean the wires of dead bugs--- CONS ---- Does not kill large insects. Mine has only killed mosquitos. Moths and flies seem to not be impacted.- When it turns on it automatically goes into light+shock mode. You must flip the light switch on & off quickly to cycle between the 3 modes (light+shock, shock only, light only). However, my light is on a dusk-to-dawn timer. At dusk the light turns on, and the bulb goes into light+shock mode. I was hoping for it to be in shock mode only. To accomplish this I would need to manually flip the light switch off and on quickly. Instead, I've decided that having the light on all night is good for security.- Instructions are poor. They are so poorly translated that it's humorous. Despite that, I was able to figure out how to use the product.- The bulb is shaped so that it won't fit into all outlets. Specifically, it is longer and wider than most bulbs. My biggest problem is that the neck of the bulb is short, and wouldn't fit into my fixture. I needed to modify my light fixture by cutting it so the bulbs would fit.- You need to brush out dead bugs from the wires with a brush- The bulb is not intended for outdoor use where it can be rained on. I found this to be an issue because my outdoor light fixtures are either accessible to the elements, or in enclosed lighting fixtures where bugs don't frequent. I needed to change one of my lighting fixtures which is under an overhang to accommodate the bulbs (see attached image).Overall, I like this product for its bright light, moderate bug-killing capabilities, and conversation-starting qualities. However, it's clear that not every home will have the right scenario to install them, and not every homeowner will find benefit. Potential buyers should consider where they would install, what light fixtures are available, and what mechanism (manual or automatic) will turn on the bulbs.UPDATE - ONE WEEK AFTER PURCHASE: The 2 bulbs on my back patio on a dusk-to-dawn timer are still killing mosquitos. The zapper area is caked with corpses. I'm pretty impressed by the number of dead guys that are in the zapper grill and on the ground beneath. I'll need to get on a step ladder and use the little brush which was provided with the bulbs to clean them out. That's a bit annoying, but a small price to pay for the number of bugs it has killed. I see 1 moth that has gotten zapped too, but the vast majority of the victims are mosquitos.

Waste of money
Product doesn't attract insects very well, the one fly that did crawl in was not zapped, electrocuted, or impeded in any wayUpdate: decided to give it another shot and after another night this crap burned out. Just a piece of trash

No Shock
It doesn’t shock bugs at all. The lights work, but that’s about it.

Useless and ineffective
I bought two of these based on all the "positive" reviews which must be fake. These are complete rubbish. I've used them for three weeks, and the mosquitoes are just as bad as they ever have been, and there is not a single dead insect in or below these two "bug zappers". In fact, there is absolutely NO evidence that these have killed even a single insect since I purchased them.

Not successfully killing house flies. Update
I like the light part but it is really only getting a few tiny bugs and flies. I wanted to kill house flies and it is not really doing the job. In a short time, the led bulb because weak to essentially non-existent. I have not received a reply from the seller. I completely understand things going wrong in producing a product and errors occur. It is not acceptable for problems to not be addressed. In this case, not only is the product minimally useful but the support is not there. I am going to warn Amazon that his is a bad and possibly scam seller. I normally do not write bad reviews, at least until I allow a seller to resolve a matter. This has more than crossed my red line. It deserves zero stars! I would not buy any product from this seller. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER. I did my best to resolve this but no response from seller
