Review: Works great in Peavey Classic 30 - I bought this because the stock reverb tank in my Peavey Classic 30 had stopped working. It was relatively easy to install, and involved 4 soldering points. Once I turned it on, I was amazed at how much better it sounded. If I knew that, I would have replaced it way before the old one broke! There is plenty of reverb on tap, over halfway up is too much for anything but ambient guitar sounds. There's a wide range of sounds, and they are all good.
Review: Great Reverb Tank for 212R - My Fender Frontmant 212R had a stock reverb tank labeled as FA Reverb-3. Found out from research that its actually a 8EB2C1B (9.25") from who knows who (accutronics?)...but it sounded tiny and made the amp sound harsh. I applied this tank after confirming the longer length would fit. It required new mounting holes (screwed in by hand) and a longer RCA cables. Installation was probably 1/2 hour. Now it sounds fantastic. It doesn't have the harshness and it gives you a warm reverb. Now I have a good sounding amp for what I do (make noise in basement).

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great in Peavey Classic 30

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Reverb Tank for 212R
*by R***M on April 7, 2012*

My Fender Frontmant 212R had a stock reverb tank labeled as FA Reverb-3. Found out from research that its actually a 8EB2C1B (9.25") from who knows who (accutronics?)...but it sounded tiny and made the amp sound harsh. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice Upgrade For $25.95!
*by R***E on October 25, 2014*

I bought the MOD 9EB2C1B Reverb Tank to replace the Korean made Reverb Tank in my Fender Blues Deville Reisssue 410. Installation involved nothing more than a Phillips Screwdriver and patience. Up and running in about 10 minutes. First impression -- a nice subtle upgrade from a 2 spring tank to a 3 spring tank. Sitting close to the amp I noticed the notes seemed better blended, i.e. sounded like reverb tanks from the 50s and 60s. Warmer. More vintage sounding. Further away from the amp (about 12 feet) the tank sounds beautiful. Very open and full sounding. Still, not going to ride the pipeline anytime soon. Not sure if pipeline sounds are even possible with the FBDR, but for $25 I definitely like the sound better. If you are in doubt, contact Amplified Parts before you order. They are ver helpful!
