Surprising Read
I read a copy of "Seven Miracles That Saved The World," and was impressed with the easy, conversational writing style. This one, centered on America, was just as good. Each "miracle" was carefully researched and told in an engaging way. The author's looked at a number of instances, and broke down the time frame, as well as the background information, that preserved America as we know it. Be prepared though; these stories are told through the lens of Christianity. There is a great deal of Providence in the events that shaped what would officially become America. Our founding fathers spoke of it regularly, and this book gives it the right amount of importance. This is a great read for a history buff, or someone who loves reading how events add up to our present time. It is well written, researched, and is a interesting read.

EDUCATIONAL, WELL-WRITTEN OVERVIEW OF AMERICAN HISTORY
A book so well-written and inspiring I had to order a few copies for my children and friends. This is another book I've read on the Kindle Fire and wish I had purchased a hardcover! Our present generation seems to have little time for lengthy books and can appreciate reading an informative and exciting overview of seven events or miracles that could have tipped our country in a different direction.I recommend reading it thru from the beginning chapter but if time is a problem, please read the chapter on THE MIDWAY. It will bring you to tears. You will never look at a veteran in the same way again. This epic battle was Japan's to win but a miracle occured - I urge you to read Chris Stewart's detailed account. Unforgettable.

Seven Miracles That Saved America
I would consider this a MUST READ. I really enjoyed this book. I love history and historical fiction; I read a lot so this book was right up my alley. It's written with historical facts and additional narrative in the story of each miracle. It really made me think more about the initial framework of our government and make better connections to events and ideas that I hadn't thought about. You also get an idea of the struggles the founders went through to develop the Constitution despite their personal beliefs. I especially love how they sought divine guidance in founding this country. The authors have given life to the founders and the historical events so when I read it; I felt it easy to get caught up in the story of each miracle. I am religious and this book does have a religious tone that might turn people away. But if you keep an open mind and are interested in the history of America I think this is an easy inspiring read.

OUTSTANDING BOOK!
This is a book that helps the reader understand how fortunate Americans are to live in America. Sometimes it is easy to forget that we really do live in a great nation. A nation with a majority of kind, truthful, unselfish, and honorable people. The creation of America was truly a miracle, and it is difficult to take a deep look at our history, like the Steward's have done, and not see the many miracles God has bestowed on our great country. This book is a must read for all Americans, including the ones who already love it, and the ones who struggle to love it.

One of the most uplifting and inspiring books I have read in a LONG time!!
A MUST READ book for anyone that loves their country OR has ever felt cynical about the path our country seems to be taking! This book left me feeling hopeful and inspired.I liked the narrative approach to each chapter that frankly made it more readable and enjoyable, as well as helping the people and events come to life. It helped put a face and personality to these historical individuals, making them more REAL and people I could relate to.I enjoyed the new information and insights I gained into well-known historical events, but I also learned some fascinating new things about the history of our country (and this is coming from a former Social Studies teacher!!) The book was very well researched and documented, and thank goodness you don't have to be a devout student of history to understand the magnitude of the events discussed by the authors.

Everything you didn't understand about History!
It reads like an exciting novel, explains details that make you realize why you didn't get an A in History, and makes you extremely grateful to the men and women who sweated daily to carve out a life in the wilderness, built cabins and farm land with no electric tools and fought the British, French and Indians for 80 years to provide us with a country based on Democracy! I loved this book!
