Professional and Portable Teleprompter with Optional Aluminum Case

update:I have had this now for about half a year. I've used it to shoot many commercials and interviews and my takeaway is that I don't know how I lived without it before. The things I used before were so sloppy and ugly I hate to even remember back, but that is not the reason for the update.I needed to rig out my Blackmagic Pocket 6k and was buying parts when I thought, HEY! I already own that. With a quick twist of a few big wing nuts and a few parts found on eBay, I saved a bundle on the base of my rail rig by using the rails, mounts, etc of this teleprompter. Not only that but I have a cute little gyro-stabilized I use for when I need to take an action shot with my Hero7 Black. The GoPro is good but nowhere big enough to be in the thick of an action shot so I put it on a stabilizer and its great. Well, up until I bought this I just zipped it on with a tie. This comes with a mount for cellphones that works perfectly with GoPros for mounting vertical or horizontally. So I got an unexpected, unplanned set of bonuses I thought people might like to add n and adjust into their equations for buy, no buy.I have been playing with this for a few days. I love the design other than I don't love the cloth cover. That is a non-issue since it is my taste, not the design that beckons for re-design. The Canon that I use ends up almost touching the glass so the cloth doesn't get in the way, I just prefer rigged edges to make the cloth portion look cleaner so I'm sewed in some plastic supports - which worked well.One issue on delivery was that there was a screw missing but Mike, the maker of this unit was on it right away, sent me a replacement with a tracking number, apologizing more than necessary.This teleprompter works great, is sturdy and comfortable, and looks great. When I show up to do an interview I want that client and the people around that client to recommend me to others, that's how we all get work. I hate the cheesy looking gear even if it works. If you don't look good, the client will form that opinion and someone else gets the job next time.Thanks, Mike for making something that is affordable, works great, and looks good too. I investigated a lot before buying a teleprompter and if you are on the market for one maybe you already know is not easy to find a good one at a fair price. This one is just the best one for the money and I definitely recommend it, in fact, it is actually surprisingly better than I expected. Camera can be adjusted in many directions, and it worked with my Sony A7R3 even with the extended double battery grip and a big lens, with space to spare. Also, it fits even our biggest tablet, reflection is perfect and easy to read, and the footage is unaffected. On the negative, it looks like it cannot withstand abuse but I take good care of my things. It also looks super professional on set. This is the best dollar for dollar teleprompter you can get and I love it.

This teleprompter works very nicely and looks very professional. Only problem is I had a lot of problem finding the right software that would work well with it. None of the software they recommended worked for me so that was a pain. I kept having to upgrade and in the end, the one I bought had a voice feature that didn't work but it had the mirror image you need for the prompter for your iPad or phone (to put your script into). My software cost about $25. Turned out the voice feature didn't work because you couldn't slow it down. But this piece of hardware (the prompter) is sturdy and works well. My client loves it. It is a great price.

This device exceeded my expectations. The thoughtfulness put into the packaging to protect the unit suggests the owner values the product, and customer experience. It is very easy to use, and I was able to set it up with no instructions, in less than 3 minutes!!!!! Huge Win For Me!. It has multiple connections depending on how you intend to use it. I have two tripods and a high end ring light i use to shoot videos, and the device accommodates this set-up with no problem. I use my cell phone, iPad Pro, and Cannon Rebel T5 and the device incorporates these with ease, so needless to say I am very pleased with this purchase.The overall sturdiness of the unit is a 7 for me. It's not poor quality, however the sturdiness could be a bit more solid seeing that it has to support a couple devices; but still a great purchase.

More than I hoped for. I’ve seen another model being used by another videographer and there was a constant adjusting, seemed difficult to work with. This model is perfect! So easy to rig, fits both my iPad mini 9.6 and my iPad Pro 12.9. While testing it was up and running in minutes with Prompt Smart Pro (great TelePrompter app with voice control) and the playback was great, looked very professional. I recommend this to every videographer. Amazing value.
