Bandai Hobby MG Gundam Astray Blue Frame D Toy, Model Number: BAN194359

This one was fun to build and technical on some parts. It poses well, and it's one of the few that I can have on the stand that comes with it.

What can I say? Its an astray frame. If its not broken why fix it? This kit is flawless its hyper poseable and can hold any pose you want. The model has great detail and the gundam is packed to the teeth with weapons.

This MG Blue Frame Astray has enough differences in the weapons and armor to make it stand apart from your other MG Astray Gundams. Initially, I didn't like the way this gundam looks, but it as grown on me. The big difference between this gundam and other MG astrays is going to be the number of swords weapons this gundam has. Other diferences include its hip armor, head, Shoulder armor and Backpack connection. This Backpack connection supports a connection to a bandai stand. A basic stand is included for this kit. The Backpack is a variation of the MG Strike Gundam (Remaster version) Aile Striker pack. Instead of mounts for Beam sabers, it has mounts for the Beam Dragoons. Like other MG Astray Gundams, it has great mobility and can be put into many different poses. However with the weight of the backpack, options are limited. The included stand helps greatly with posing and playing with it. The Swords combine into 2 giant swords easily and feel fairly solid, but I wouldn't let a small child play with it. This gundam works with the standard MG Striker packs for the Gundam Seed Series like the Aile Striker Pack, Sword Striker Pack, Launcher Striker Pack, etc. If you are a big fan of the Gundam Seed, I would recommend this kit.

The build holds together for the most part but the arms are loose so be careful

The articulation is quite good. The backpack is rather heavy though, posing without the free stand that comes with the kit would have been an issue.Interesting mechanism of combining all the small swords/daggers to make the giant sword-thingy.

I bought this kit from Best Online Digital. When I got the box in the mail it was badly damaged. Like torn open and a whole corner smashed in. Shipping is out of their control. They reached out and offered me a refund. Very nice of them. As for the kit. Its awesome! Cant beat a Bandai MG!

Another great MG kit from the SEED series, or Manga/Novel in this case. Comes with it's own base, high amount of posing possibility.

Este fue mi primer MG, y me parece que fue un punto de entrada lo suficientemente sencillo. Algunas piezas en particular son difíciles de sacar de las guías y/o remover el exceso de plástico sin dañarlas. Pero esto es de esperarse por el tamaño de algunas. En mi experiencia, las piezas azules que cubren el antebrazo requieren de ser particularmente cuidadoso, debido a los pequeños bordes que tienen y son fáciles de romper si se usa demasiada fuerza, en lo posible evitar sostenerla presionando sobre estos, ya sea con pinzas o con la mano. Existen otra cantidad de piezas bastante pequeñas, pero el resto son de formas sencillas y por tanto más sólidas. El modelo terminado tiene una buena articulación, y una gran cantidad de espadas, por lo que muchas poses son posibles. Lo recomiendo a cualquier fan de Gundam, aunque cabe mencionar, la segunda revisión de este gundam ( El de la espada gigante) me parece más atractiva, y los modelos son muy similares. Esta versión me parece más balanceada, es fácil pasarlo sin una base, pero prefiero la segunda y no creo que sean suficientemente distintos como para comprar ambos. Aunque, si realmente te agradan ambos, compralos, ambos son buenos modelos.
