Bought these for my dog. Normal clipper blades would dull half way through a cut. These shears cut through her fur no problem. I'm only giving four stars because I've only used them once so far, not sure how they'll stand up to repeated use.

I specifically paid more for this product then I could have for others about the same but I thought paying more would mean they would work much better I only have three sheep they are Shetland sheep and it cuts through most of their wall okay I've had surprisingly a tough time getting through several times stressed out my sheep pretty bad and it doesn't come with oil already in the container or anything like I thought it did tell me where in the middle of shearing LOL and it gets very hot very quickly to the point where it almost stops running so you have to turn it off very frequently and let it rest for 30 minutes to an hour before you can continue

We only used it twice and than it broke, it stopped working. I would like to replace it, but when I go into the options, I am only given the option of REFUND/RETURN. We are looking at wanting to exchange for another set, if not, we can settle for a REFUND.

Disappointed with cut. Bought for a matted Pyrenees thinking it would cut well but it was very laborious process. Tried several cutting angles

Very happy with this product, I purchased two others, but had to return them. Our German shephard has a triple coat and very thick , Please don't use it on small dogs and thin hair. be careful when working around nipple's and private area. with

I bought this for my sheep and thought it worked wonderful. It took a few minutes to get broke in but after that it cut very nicely. Considering the price of many other sheers...I was very impressed with the quality of this product for its price.

Very good

This is a great produce. Purchased it to cut my standard poodles. It cut through their thick coarse hair like butter. It is a little noisy, but they didn't mind...neither did I!

Tried to sheer baby doll sheep. If they only cut the fur they’d probably work really well since they don’t overheat.

Cut through thick heavy matted dog hair! Nothing else would do it!

While this product is louder than regular dog clippers, our standard poodle settled right in and enjoyed the handling.

Bought them for my parents Great Pyrenees dog. Works great, as it should especially for a dog. I’m sure it’ll work fine with sheep too. 😬
