I love the strong light and the powerful blast of electricity from such a compact little box. I just have to buzz it in the air to scare unwelcome critters away with out really hurting them but it’s powerful enough to, when placed in a good position to take down a full grown man. My brother didn’t believe me but now he knows 😄

THIS is the perfect holiday gift. I gift these to the young adult and adult women in my family. Everyone wants one. Safety first! These are light weight but hold a good deal of power. The size is great for purses or pockets. I feel better knowing my loved ones have one of these.

I’ve used the SABRE Stun Gun & LED Flashlight for 4 years, and it’s still in great shape. The 1.16 µC stun is powerful and effective, while the 120-lumen flashlight is bright and practical. It’s durable, rechargeable, and comes with a convenient holster. A reliable and long-lasting self-defense tool.

When comparing to the S-1005 model, the flashlight is dimmer and the charger requires a wall outlet. There is no overcharge protection so you'll have to be careful charging it.The size is still suitable to take around in a pocket (even if it's a little wider than the 1005), but the side switch on mine takes more effort to properly shift up/down between modes. My specific unit apparently also has this issue where switching out of flashlight mode to "off" causes the flashlight to stay on and you have to mess with the switch a bit to get it to turn off. But there's low risk of accidentally switching it into armed mode, that's for sure.The fire button seems to work a fair bit better than the 1005 model, and it hasn't lost its ability to create the arc through pressing it. We'll have to see if it gets "jammed up" somehow as my 1005 did, though.Overall this should work fine if you manage to slide your switch to "armed" fast enough without your thumb slipping off. It's not *too* practical to use the dimmer light to "stun" someone though, especially if you want a strobe effect (which there is none of). You'll also have to plan out a specific spot in your pockets/etc. for just this, so you can keep it upright in a position easily grabbable in a quick moment.

Use the stun gun to carry walking little dog to protect against our local coyote problem attacking pets. This loud crackling of electricity and flashing arc scares them off.

The media could not be loaded. I walk my dog every morning when it is still dark. This stun gun gives me peace of mind that should I encounter a rough situation I will have a fighting chance. I have not had to use it on a person but did use it in the air to get someone to stop following me. The very loud and visual crackle it gives off can sometimes be enough to let someone know to leave you alone. I have also felt a lot better just having it on me a number of times. It is lightweight, small enough to fit in a pocket, (although it comes with a holster of sorts), simple to use, and appears and sounds like it packs a wallop! An inexpensive way to help ensure your safety without the finality of some weapons. Perfectly legal, inexpensive, and easy to use by many ages.

I purchased this because I was going on a bachelorette trip and I knew we would be walking around at night in the city. I wanted something less lethal than my gun so that I would be able to take it in and out of bars. It is extremely easy to use and has a flash light as well which is nice. It did not want to fit in my clutch because it was too wide BUT fit perfectly in a small purse with plenty of room for other things. It sounds very powerful. Thankfully I haven’t had to use it so I am unsure of just how strong it is and I can’t convince one of my boyfriend’s friends to let me try it with a quick zap on them, so I don’t really know how well it works. But overall for under $15 you literally can’t beat it. And it’s adorable so that’s a bonus.
