Served me well
i used this with my xbox kinect one for about nine months. it served me perfectly, without a single issue past the setup stage. quality of the camera was perfect for what i needed. the tracking of my body was also stellar.unfortunately i've no need for it anymore. but i'll have this reliable piece of tech for if i ever do again.

Nice unit
Worked perfectly to adapt my Kinect for Xbox One to work directly connected to my PC. It provides power to the Kinect as well as adapts the XBox connector to USB. Very important that you connect it to USB 3.0 (blue tab in the USB port) as it probably won't work otherwise. My PC has both USB 2.0 and 3.0 and it didn't work until I figured out the blue tabbed port means USB 3.0.One very nice thing this vendor did is they put a well detailed description and diagrams for how to connect physically and where to find the Microsoft software to validate the connection. If the connection works but you still have problems with your software seeing the Kinect you may need a manual driver download. I found the link buried in a Microsoft Kinect support post from long ago. Driver date is 5/16/2019. Version is 2.2.1905.16000.

It works but can be finicky...
I bought this unit to do FBT in VR and the cable works, though it took a bit of troubleshooting to get up and running. The first unit I received was dead on arrival, and would constantly connect/disconnect the Kinect sensor from my PC (which seems to be a common issue with this cable) though I was able to return it and get a replacement very quickly. This cable luckily worked, however when setting up with the Kinect SDK experienced low bandwidth issues. It turns out, this was the result of using my PC's case USB ports rather than plugging in directly to the motherboard on the back (For my PC friends out there make sure to do that!). It seems to be working just fine for now, just be ready for some troubleshooting if your unit arrives DOA.I've included a scan of the instructions sent with the unit in case that helps anyone!

It Just Works.
We've had a kinect for a few years now and never really used it. It got thrown in a drawer and just sat there. I was looking for games for my 6yo daughter to play and figured Just Dance would be perfect for her. So I went to hook up the Kinect to my Xbox One S and found out there was nowhere to plug it in. So I hopped online and started looking for and adapter. I came across this one for $20, cheaper than all of the rest I had found, and ordered it. The adapter came and it was really just as simple as hooking everything up, plugging it in and going into the settings to turn the mic and camera on. The only thing I would say to someone who gets it is make sure you plug it into the USB in the back of the Xbox that says 1 on it. I read that in one of the answers to a question on here and decided to just try the one labeled 2 to see if it would work, It didn't. So I just unplugged my external hard drive from the USB labeled 1, plugged it into the one labeled 2, plugged the Kinect into the USB labeled 1, restarted the Xbox and it worked like a charm. My daughter danced until she couldn't dance anymore today so that in itself was worth the $20 I spent on it.

Doesn't power up Kinect at all
First order got lost, so I asked for a replacement. I received that and plugged it into my XBox One X, nothing. The power light on the adapter is on, but the Kinect is not recognized by the XBox One X, and the Kinect won't power up. My Kinect works fine on my Xbox One. I have emailed the vendor, we will see if they respond.

Works but not great
It makes the finest work at all but many sources state not official cords have issues, maybe needs dust cleaned out but used refurbished kinect with this cord turns on and off (works at all at least)
