Powerfields EW936-660 9 Wire Polywire, 660-Feet, White/Black

We use it in combination with the much thicker electric 'rope'. It doesn't have the breaking strength of the rope but it is better than any of the other 9 wire products. If a horse strikes it, it will break and it can make wire cuts but that is true of any wire product. The thick rope won't cause that harm nor will it break when hit. The wire gives a much sharper 'zap'. This combination works well to contain stallions and escape artists. Very easy to work with and good visibility.

Cows tend to respond better to this black and white as opposed to the primarily white or all white poly wire/rope. I think with the black and white twisted they can't see exactly where it's at and respect it better by staying back.

Thrilled our neighbor recommended this product. We use it for our cows and pigs, pasture rotation with step in stakes, and couldn't be happier! We have a strong power source and this wire carries it!

Used this for horses and cattle. Only reason the cattle would get out is if it gets detached, which happened. Otherwise, carries good shock. Better than the yellow wire at Tractor Supply. Used for six plus years now.

Bought this about 9 yrs ago and was still strong and carried voltage over 2400 feet but just to be on safe side rewired the whole area. Hope it lasts another 9 yrs
