Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks (Xbox)

I wasn't really into mortal kombat at first as it looked illy, but after playing this game I really love it, especially the multiplayer campaign, didn't think it was possible on this old console. Game rocked. Thanks.

This game is magnificent. I like the story and also that it's made on levels - it's not the regular one on one game.Really regret that it's not available for Xbox 360.

Imagine the classic megadrive game Streets of Rage brought into the new millenium and with LOTS more blood and lots more gore, and you essentially have the new Mortal Kombat game. You play as Liu Kang or Kung Lao (to start with) and you journey around earth and Outworld where u basically kick the living daylights out of anything that crosses your path until you bump into bosses like Mileena, Scorpion and Baraka. I've heard people slate the graphics on the game, saying they're not the usual Xbox standards............. how can people even begin to say it, they're amazing!The downsides to the game are..............none! Except for perhaps you could have played as all of the characters once you unlocked them as it would have increased the replay value a hundredfold, but apart fromt hat, the game is mint!

WOW! what more can i say? This game has surpassed all other Mortal Kombat Games! Fights in the arenas and a decent Adventure mode, unlike MK Deception which the campaign mode was terribly poor. This is one of the best beat-em up, adventure, fight games i have ever played. GO AND BUY IT NOW!

I kept my faith in the Mortal Kombat series, after being dissapointed by deadly alliance and deception (story mode). I was really impressed by the storyline and the new TWO PLAYER CO-OP MODE in this game. Its totally a game for people that want to kick-ass, and solve some nice riddles along the line as they progress through the game and unlock characters.If you enjoyed old school games like streets of rage and battle axe, plus the good old MK series on the SNES or sega, you would love this game. it's a very good two player beat em up as well, and will keep your mates happy.
