Works, will update after a few months
So far so good. This battery replaced the original Dell battery in an XPS 15 9550. Versus later models without the SSD, this laptop uses a smaller sized battery to accomodate the extra drive. Make sure to check the battery model before ordering as it appears that not all 9550 batteries are the same size.Packaging was easy to open -- just a cardboard box with an anti-static bag inside. Some other batteries have arrived in heat-formed plastic but I prefer the simple packaging for this commodity item.Installation was easy enough. there were a few Phillips head screws to remove, including a cover plate, and the battery connector. I used a small pry tool to remove the connector. When opening, be careful to remove the screws under the hinged door in the middle of the laptop.Once assembled, it showed 65% charge which took another hour to bring to 100%. So far no issues. It performs as expected and no longer shuts down immediately when I disconnect the power. After a few months I'll check the level again to see how it stands up.

Not a suitable replacement for OEM RRCGW
Wire harness from battery is offset by ~1.5cm, and extends out an additional ~1cm compared to OEM, leading to a cramped/forced connection to fit within available footprint. More critically, the battery is thicker than OEM (8mm vs 7mm OEM) preventing the 'click' movement of the trackpad on a Dell Precision 5510. Perhaps this was a defective unit, but unless you plan on only using your device with a mouse attached, I'd save my time and go with a different seller.

not charging but great customer service
I'm sorry to say that this battery doesn't charge. It's stuck at 10%. plugged and unplugged the battery a couple of times to no avail.I must say that the seller contacted me and offered a replacement unit. Their customer service is very good.
