This is generally more than we like to spend on a children's winter coat, but I intentionally got a size too big so it'll fit our 2nd grader for at least 2 winters, if not 3. Even too big, it fits just fine. It's warm but lightweight, so it's super comfortable. So far, it's been totally waterproof, and our kiddo gives it a workout every single day, and it gets washed about once a week. Zipper pockets have cut down on lost gloves, and the zippers are all metal and very durable. The removeable hood (via zipper) is a nice feature for when it's a little warmer out. All in all, no complaints even with the hefty price tag. Will probably buy it again in a couple of years.

We are very pleased this this coat. It hasn’t been terribly cold here yet so we can’t judge on warmth for winter quite yet. But this jacket is great so far. Fit is good. Love the soft interior. The removable hood is a great feature. Love the zip side pockets (the coat we bought for my other daughter didn’t have these and she is disappointed). The upper zipper pocket on the outside breast is fantastic too. It is a great place for her to store her mask during recess (sad that that is a thing). I hope it holds up for 2 seasons because it is a beautiful coat and she loves it.

I live in Florida but I I'm a pet care worker so I work outside and I'm small, cold affects me. I need this coat sometimes in the winter. I chose this one for many reasons the color, the pocket holes are on the sides and zip, the wrists are elastic and don't cover my hands and I can push them up if I want and they will stay, it has a hood and it unzips off. It has other pocket on the right chest area that is perfect for my work stuff credit card, dog whistle/clicker, doggy bag roll, mini flashlight/mini pen, little stuff. I love this coat except for the hood that continues to come unzipped each time she puts the coat on and off. I just have my granddaughter wear a hat just in case it comes off. The hood is also to large and lets all kinds of weather in. Now for the Excellent warmth of this coat. My granddaughter never shivers anymore while walking to school, and the coat fits just right but I did go up one size. The coat is also very durable and has great styling. Shipping was so quick and I would purchase this again, just would buy a great hat to go along with it. LOL 4 stars only because the hood needs improvement.

It’s a perfect fit. My daughter wore it while tobogganing and the coat stayed dry. It’s soft on the inside and warm.
