DroiX X96 Max+ Android 9 Pie TV BOX Mini PC HTPC - Amlogic S905X3 2.0Ghz CPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM [X96M+-4/64]

X96 Max+I bought this to replace a two year old X96 Mini, which is still going strong, but I needed a unit that would benefit from my Gigabit Broadband.The X96 Max is simplicity itself to setup and install apk's to. I installed my usual favourites and did a speedtest. The unit is connected by ethernet to a good quality TP link Range Extender. Because the X96 Max has a Gigabit Ethernet port speeds as expected are superb. Even though I am connected in the way described I am getting a consistent 220mbs.The unit streams smoothly with no buffering and super quality HD channels are so bright, crisp and clear everything becomes a pleasure to watch.Having owned this units smaller relative, I know how reliable they are, I am confident this model will deliver a few years of excellent service.To anyone considering an Android TV Box buy this one, I am in my 70's and I have no problem with this straightforward and fantastic method of aquiring a wide variety of entertainment.In operation the unit feels very slightly warm to touch so it is well designed and disipates heat very well. Considering how well the unit operates, and with it's specs, it is fairly priced. Overall I would say this has to be one of the better boxes of the current ones available. One further thing to add is that the remote is, in my opinion, quite excellent too.With certain apps there will be times when an air mouse is needed, there are many available and worth acquiring.

Had a few boxs over the years, this is very good for the price. Mid range box. Does the job well. Very pleased with it.

Good quality and works well

This X96 Max 64 Gig Verison is awesome so quick it blows the firestick out of the water no more worrying about memory or storage. It plays Amazon prime. It the first box I've had. It's so quick and very easy to setup. I really like it and I've only had it a few hours. You can send all your music from your phone to this box by Bluetooth. I brought a Rii+ USB keyboard with backlit keys and a Air Mouse with voice control both of these items I also brought off Amazon these really make the box complete. I also brought a 64 Gig memory micro sd card so I have 128 gig storage space which is alwalys handy to have but I doubt I will ever use all the 64 gigs that comes with the X96 Max box. Great buy I'm well happy with it.

Not as good as others for the price does what it needs to do. as well the dutc version of this books is alot better to buy on Bol.Com

Excellent box, YouTube lags. and remote could be better. But for the money I would recommend A+

Second media player I'm going to send back in less than 2 days. Initial setup is dead easy, looks sophisticated and easy to manage. First disappointment, Netflix doesn't work. The app wants to update but can't, when you follow Netflix's guidance and install the app again, it doesn't load (incompatible app). When you try to watch it using Chrome, it stops playing with an error. After 5 minutes of struggling the screen went funny (see attached). Reboot solved the problem but than again, after a couple of minutes, went funny. Gave up. Can anyone recommend a media player that actually works?

Really very good and excellent item. An a very helpful company. They say if you have any issues you are only to contact them. Really & truly excellent care.

Bisogna essere chiari, questo box NON ti permette di vedere Netflix o Prime Video FULL HD (o 4k), quasi tutti i box non lo permettono, solo fino a 480p.Fatta questa precisazione il box e' piu' che onesto, veloce grazie al chipset di nuova generazione s905x3, con 4gb ram e 32gb rom. Ha preinstallato una versione "tarocca" di Kodi, Netflix ed altre applicazioni. C'e' il Play Store di Google, quindi ci si installata quello che volete.Personalmente non lo usero' mai con android, l'ho accesso, verificato che avesse l'ultimo firmware, installato da play store (dopo l'autenticazione) "Reboot to Libreelec" e riavviato appunto con una microsd dentro dove ho installato Coreelec (ng-9.2.3) che supporta anche il vfd (il visore dove vedi l'ora, ed il telecomando)Il box e' estremamente rapido, con una veloce lan gigabit, il telecomando e' abbastanza "generico" (fa il suo dovere) personalmente l'ho sostituito con un G30S. Con Coreelec supporta HLG, HDR, testato sul mio panasonic tx-55gz950 anche con filmati ad altissimo bitrate/qualita'.Consigliato se sapete cosa comprate!

Funciona muy bien. Va muy fluido y cumple perfectamente con mis necesidades.
