The Book of Love: Every Couple’s Guide to Emotional and Sexual Intimacy

I have not read the whole book but did skim through it and it seems like a great book. some things are common sense, but are good reminders, and i like that it reads more like a regular book, and not like a text book, it keeps it interesting.

This is a very helpful book for anyone wanting to spice up their relationship. The pictures are great and the information is quite helpful.

This book guides you thru the art of making love and how it should be handled. I would say that this ook is great and I would recommend it.

Thanks, I have been wanting to read this for quite a while. I find Berman's work to be interesting, and as a therapist, useful for clients.

I bought this book with some hope for a book about love/emotions/communication but boy was I wrong. The snippets of info are very vague and are not at all helpful. Some are offensive. The picture are nice but that's it.I bought the book in a bookstore and then came online to see what other people thought on Amazon. One review is from Dr. Laura's husband (Sam Chapman, who describes himself as her "publicist", easily findable by a quick Google search) and the other review is probably from him, too, because if you click on it, you can see that every other review that the"happy husband" has written are for his own book (again, Sam Chapman's book!) and for Dr. Laura's books and sex toys and they all have embedded links trying to get people to buy his product. What a sham!!! And how embarrassing for them. I am surprised that Amazon has let these reviews from her husband stay online.UPDATE: It looks as though the other "reviews" are also Sam Chapman-linked. I googled "Laura Berman Mekky" (the other reviewer is named Mekky) and one of the first things that came up with that Sam Chapman (Dr. Laura's husband) thanks Michelle Mekky in his No Gossip Zone book. So they're all friends. And the other positive reviewer, aside from "holly", is "Nicole Ryan" who if you Google her along with "Laura Berman" you find that this "Nicole Ryan" person seems to positively review Dr. Laura's sex toys on a whole bunch of different sites.Why not just let real readers write reviews? If it's good work, it will stand on its own! Let your wife's work be read, reviewed and praised or not for what it is. Fake reviews don't help anyone.

THE BOOK WAS MORE INFORMATIVE THAN I EXPECTED AND IT IS SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN SHARE WITH YOUR PARTNER. I ALSO RECOMMENDED THE BOOK TO A FRIEND.

This is a great book and will give you all the advice you need to keep your relationship a loving relationship. Love it!

Not what I was expecting

I was expecting this book to be more specific regarding sex; however the book pertains more to daily life and our interactions with our partner and how we can improve our overall relationship with our partner.
