iVisor for iPad 2 - White (99MO020909)

I was hesitant about getting a screen protector for my iPad 2 for a long time, but I read quite a few positive reviews about this one and decided to pull the trigger.PACKAGINGArrived in a nice thing box that was easy to open. Included very clear instructions as well as a microfiber cleaning cloth to prep your iPad for the protector. Major kudos on the cloth as its small enough to keep with my iPad case but just big enough to get the job done.PROS*Really does go on as easy as described. I cleaned my screen with the included cloth, lined the sucker up and let it fall into place, no bubbles or bumps or anything. I actually had to lift it up and realign it and it was easy as pie.*Much easier to keep clean, doesn't get greasy or feel nasty, fingers don't catch on your screen when trying to play games, available in white or black to match the color of your iPad.*Feels thicker than I expected (in a good way!). Really does feel like it is protecting my screen.CONS*Border of the protector actually goes over the edge of your display ever so slightly, not a big deal but I do notice it on occasion.*You can feel a slight amount of give when you press down on the screen around the edges (ie: when you're typing), not too big of a problem but definitely noticeable and somewhat annoying when I first applied the protector. Has reduced somewhat with use but still present.SUGGESTION!Use the old trick I learned when I worked at the Apple store - Don't try to lay the protector on from one end to another, use two hands and curve the edges up and in (so the protector makes a "U" shape) and line the button and camera holes up at the top and bottom respectively. Go ahead and press the protector down so the middle of it makes contact with the screen, verifying your alignment, then let go, the rest of the protector will fall into place.

I just recieved my screen protector and I am honestly quite impressed. Installation was super easy and allowed for multiple failed attempts at aligning it correctly without ruining the adhesive. As other reviews indicate, I got the matte version which will JUST BARELY change the clarity of the screen but its seriously NOT a big change at all (I didn't adjust any brightness or anything). The screen protector is also very sturdy which I can tell can take quite a beating.Now, the reason why I gave 4/5 stars is because I am a medical student and I use my ipad2 to write notes with a stylus pen. Since I placed the screen protector on, I've noticed I've had to put a bit more pressure on the pen when writing. Touch sensitivity with my fingers is not affected at all, however there is a noticeable change with the stylus. For now, I'm just going to assume that my stylus (AYL Slim Capacitive Stylus) just sucks (since it was $9) and will invest in a newer one (maybe a bamboo stylus or something similar).All in all, it was a great investment in purchasing this screen protector and I highly recommend it to anyone. $30 is quite a bit for a screen protector, but its definitely worth it.

The horror stories I'd heard about the application of other types of iPad screen protectors drove me to try another approach, and to my delight, I've found that the rave reviews of this one are not overstated. Although it took a while for this to arrive (out of stock--wish they'd let me know sooner), it was definitely worth the wait. The package arrived; I opened it, glanced at the instructions, and applied the shield in less than a minute--probably less than 30 seconds. It was easy to line up, and so far (30 minutes), it adheres well. BTW, the little cloth that comes with it for cleaning the screen prior to application is excellent.I was apprehensive about how sensitive to touch the iPad would be with this or any other screen protector, but I don't notice any difference in response to touch. The feel, however, is very slightly "chalky," and I miss the smooth, silky feel of the iPad. It's a very minor trade-off, though, for the sweet assurance of not scratching the screen, which I've worried about since first receiving the iPad and having to wait for the iVisor AG to arrive. The surface that yields the slightly chalky feel, however, seems to prevent or at least diminish the visibility of many of the fingerprints which used to appear on my screen. [I'll have to incorporate this fact somehow in the who-dunnit I was writing in my head that utilized the print-prone iPad screen for capturing the fingerprints of the diabolical crime suspect.]It's good that the fingerprints on the screen protector are less noticeable, because the surface of the screen protector is far less oleophobic than the iPad screen, so it's harder to remove the fingerprints. The included cloth is a big help. The directions suggest removing the shield once a month and washing in soap and water, air drying thoroughly before reapplying. I'm skeptical about the reapplication and particularly concerned about the strength of the bond after washing. Stay tuned.Bottom line: great product that I won't hesitate to recommend to friends.

Everything you've read about the ease of install and lack of bubbles is 100% correct. Great design! Unfortunately the anti-glare coating is way too thick for my taste. It greatly diminishes the acuity that the ipad2 screen has. I would cry if this was on the new retina display of the iPad3! It does get rid of the crisp reflections that can be distracting but also creates a reflective sheen when coupled with knocking down the brightness and added speckling really takes away from the beautiful glass of this hardware. You may not notice if you have one iPad but I have several and side by side there's no way I'm going to degrade my image that much. I would love a crystal clear alternative of this otherwise great design.One of the reasons I wanted this is for when my iPad goes outside to get rid of the reflections but alas, with the brightness getting kicked squarely in the teeth, this is no better! I will also add one more positive. It truly is simple to clean. Wet paper towel/cloth and you are clean as a whistle again.

This is the best Ipad 2 screen protector out there. Took me less than 1 minute to put it on and NO BUBBLES. Excellent. Highly recommended.

Gestern bestellt, heute geliefert, Amazon das ist wieder mal super.Zur Folie, sie ist zwar extrem teuer dafür ist sie sehr leicht und schnell anzubringen (5min inkl. Reinigung des Displays) absolut keine Blasenbildung. Die Entspiegelung ist auch gut, zwar nicht 100% aber auf jeden Fall ausreichend. Das Display verliert ein klein wenig an Brilianz, aber das fällt kaum ins Gewicht (im Gegensatz zu manchen anderen Folien) Ich habe inzwischen verschiedene Folien im Preisbereich von 5 bis 15 Euro ausprobiert, alles mist. Dies ist die erste Folie die ich richtig gut finde. Für die Qualität und Einfachheit der Montage gibts 5 Sterne. Normal müsste für den Preis 1 Stern abgezogen werden. Aber wenn ich zusammenrechne was ich bisher für nicht brauchbare Folien ausgegeben habe. Ausserdem erhöt ein geschützes Display den Wiederverkaufswert des iPad doch enorm. Leider gibt es die Folie für das iPad 2 noch nicht solang. Werde mir gleich eine fürs iPhone bestellen, bei dem ist die 15 Euro Folie gerade abgefallen.

Die Folie ist sehr einfach aufzubringen. Kein Gepansche mit Wasser notwendig.Ich habe sie mir beschafft, da ich das Ipad in einer teilweise sehr hellen Umgebung als Navi einsetze und die Spiegelungen dann sehr stören.Das Display verliert naturgemäß etwas an Brillianz, es hält sich aber im Rahmen. Die Spiegelungen verringern sich zwar, verschwinden aber auch nicht völlig. Insgesamt ein brauchbarer Kompromiß.Die Blickwinkelabhängigkeit der Darstellungsqualität ist ausgeprägter als ohne die Folie. Ein Graining, wie ich es bei anderen Folien gesehen habe, ist hier überhaupt nicht vorhanden.Ein Wort zur Liefersituation bei Amazon: Der zunächst angegebene Liefertermin wurde um 4 Wochen unterboten. Amazon hat, wie bei früheren Lieferungen auch schon, mehr gehalten als versprochen. Das ist im Internethandel eine seltene Ausnahme und verdient auf jeden Fall ein positives Feedback.

Ich habe schon bei der schutzfilme am iPhone Unterschiede bei der Qualität bemerkt. Gerade was die Aufbringung und Haltbarkeit und Robustheit angeht. Wenn eine Folie also was bringen soll bei der Größe von etwa 10 ", dann wird das leider nicht billig.Dünne Folien, die jeden kleinsten Partikel sichtbar machen, der sich zwischen Bildschirm und Folie legt, gibt es glaub ich genug. Das Versprechen, dass die Folie binnen Sekunden blasenfrei sitzt, kann ich nur bestätigen. Die Oberfläche fühlt sich toll an. Entspiegelnung ist gut. Und ich sehe kaum Fingerabdrücke.Meine Finger gleiten darüber, als ob die Folie gar nicht vorhanden wäre. Vielleicht sogar noch besser, als ohne Folie. Kaufen!

Ich bin eigentlich kein Freund von Folien für Handys usw. Aber meinem iPad wollte ich mal eine spendieren!Ich muss sagen, der Preis ist echt hoch aber nachdem ich die Folie in den Händen bzw. auf dem iPad hatte" der Preis ist gerechtfertigt. Folie aus der guten Verpackung nehmen, Display mit dem beigelegten Mikrofasertuch reinigen, Folien am "home Button " ausrichten, loslassen und schon saugt sich die Folie ohne eine Blase fest!! FERTIG :)Nach meiner Meinung wird das Display ein klein wenig "matter" aber stört in keiner weise!!Zusammen gefasst: wer seinem iPad eine Folie spendieren möchte ist mit dieser Folie echt gut bedient!!!
