Sturdy
Exactly what I wanted. Built my own elevated platform for a blind. Needed the “porch” feature. Telescoping legs make it easy to level and adjust. Overall sturdy.

The shadow hunter platform is a nice addition
Pros: Nice product as far as having a platform to use going in and out of my enclosed Deer stand. Seams to be pretty sturdy so far only I have to agree with other reviews. The railing still feels a little flimsy also. As I have attached the left side of stand wall as pictured. Making it more sturdy. Cons: I didn’t like the way it came shipped packaging came damaged box was ripped up and delivered with tape all over it. Also metal railings were sticking out of packaging and bent. I just wish it came shipped better. I also should have kept the pictures of when it was delivered and posted them. As it was several months ago. I also opened package when I received it to make sure that all parts were delivered in box an not lost at that time every thing seamed to be there. This is the only reason I am giving it 3 stars other than that it is a good product.

Sturdy ladder and platform, handrails and hardware are cheap. Design is a bit odd.
I plan to use this ladder/platform to access the roof of a shipping container. I've mostly assembled it but have yet to attach it to the container. The ladder/platform comes in a single 48.5 inch x 18.5 inch x 8 inch, 84 pound box. The box is low-grade but thick cardboard. Mine was torn at one end on delivery, but nothing had fallen out. The manual and hardware are in bags in an internal box. All of the 32 large parts are in the main box, some separated by plastic wrapping.I was surprised to find that the ladder/platform is made in China. I really expected something like this to be American-made.The hardware includes 57 bolts, all 1/4 inch diameter, from 1 1/4" to 3 1/2" long and just about every single length in between. There are also lag screws, locknuts for all the bolts, retainer pins for the ladder sections, and a bunch of really cheap nylon washers (most of the washers still have large sprues and burrs on them). The bolts and nuts don't thread smoothly, and don't have the markings or feel of hardened steel. All of the hardware is mixed together in a single plastic bag. Sorting out the 1 1/2 inch, 2 inch, and 2 1/4 inch bolts is a fiddly hassle. It also begs the question of why all of these almost-identical lengths are needed. Why not just replace all the other lengths with 2 1/4 and 3 1/4 bolts and make it easier for everyone? The longest part is the main ladder section, it is 48 inches long. It feels very solid, and doesn't flex. The other 2 ladder sections, adjustable footer sections, 3 platform sections, platform support rail sections, and mounting bracket also feel very sturdy. The ladder/platform is rated for 500 pounds, and that seems believable to me. The handrails and other parts, however, feel flimsy and far too easy to flex. The handrails seem to be more for convenience than safety.Given all the pieces involved, assembly takes a while. A socket wrench and cordless drill / screwdriver are recommended. You're going to be tightening a lot of locknuts. You'll also need to drill 5 holes, all 1/4 inch, plus possibly 2 smaller pilot holes for the 5/16 inch lag screws. The attachment bracket is designed to slide onto a 2 x 6 board (the board is part of the hunting tower) from underneath, then be attached to the board with 2 lag screws vertically and 5 carriage bolts horizontally. The platform support rails hang from the bracket by 2 bolts. It's an odd design since it seems upside-down--everything hangs from the board rather than sitting on top of it.It is possible that an experienced and strong backpacker might be able to strap all the parts together and pack them in to a hunting spot on foot, but for most of us this is something to carry in by cart, ATV, or truck. For my specific purpose, I think this ladder/platform will work well. But it may not be the best solution for everyone.Given the price, I expected higher quality hardware and handrails. The handrails should be upgraded to use the same tubing as the ladder and support rails.

Shipping Box
Shipping box needs reinforcement. Ladder ends were outside of the box when it was delivered. Needed minor adjustments to fit together. Product was everything we expected. Will buy more.
