Do you like paranormal romantic stories? If you answered "yes" to both questions, then The Eternal Guardian series is what you've been looking for. I think every book in the series can be read as a stand alone but reading the whole series will give you a look at a bigger scheme going on, i.e. a wicked game of the gods (who really cause nothing but trouble). Originally my favorite guardian was Theron. He is the leader of the Argonauts and everything a woman can dream of: handsome, with a strong sense of responsibility, honor and duty. And Casey was a perfect match for him. I loved their dialogues, and the scene where Theron stood up to the king himself to protect Casey from being sacrificed is one of my favorites (did i mention the hot sizzling love scenes :) ) Now, Zander and Callia was an okay read for me, since I couldnt really get attached to both of them. Zander was way too depressive for me. Rumor has it he is the only immortal guardian among all of the others (turns out the rumors as usual are not true). Zander and Callia had a relationship in the past until something really bad happened and they broke up but now ten years later they finally found the way back to each other. Looks like the one and only soul mate curse is not a curse after all. And this bring me to the third installment "Tempted". Sigh...As I said originally Theron was my favorite guardian. Until i read "Tempted". Demetrius is really the biggest and baddest there is. He is huge, sulking, mean, taking-no-s***-from-anybody type of a guardian. You wanna be pushed around, insulted and feel miserable? Demetrius is your guy :) After reading the first two books I had mixed feeling about him. There was definitely something about him that made you think "why, are you doing this? what's reason and what's the point?". Now I know. Isadora is D's soul mate but he had to push her away in order to protect her even though all he wants is holding her in his arms until the end of time. Very very romantic. I loved how much both characters transformed from when we first meet them to finally being together. He saved her numerous times and she ultimately saved him. The only sad moment for me was realizing that Nick (D's half-brother) have to end up without a soul mate. Because apparently being twins with D means Isadora is also Nick's soul mate. However, I hope it's not true. Because Orpheus and Gryphon are also half-brothers and each of them would find their soul mates. Speaking about Orpheus, after reading "Enraptured" I was a bit disappointed at how O changed from being an unpredictable, all-can-do bad boy to a typical, mellow, very conscientious young man. But I guess that;s what love can do to a man :) I loved Skyla. Very strong (in all meanings) female character. Her coming back from the dead was a bit predictable but still. I'm now reading the fifth installment "Enslaved" and so far it's good. Will write a review once I finish. Im looking forward to "Bound" , a story of Titus and eventually hope to read about Nick. Review: My Favorite So Far! - Tempted- In book three Princess Isadora disappears when she is waiting to be bound to Zander. The Argonauts suspect she ran, especially Demetrius. However her sisters know she wouldn’t. She was kidnapped by witches. First Atalanta plots against her and now the witches. The Argonauts are sent to rescue her and come up against a powerful warlock. Gryphon, Isadora and Demetrius have to flee through a portal to the human world. Their luck doesn’t change as they end up in Atalanta’s hands. She has a master plan involving Demetrius and Isadora. She traps them on the Island of Pandora where they have to try and stay alive. The island is full of all the original monsters the original Argonauts rounded up and rid the human world of. Demetrius continues to try to treat Isadora with contempt. He has to fight his attraction and keep his distance. She is better off without him. His goal is to make her hate him. Isadora is not thrilled to be trapped on an island with the man who hates everything about her. At least that is what she believes until she looks deeper, passed the hateful words. He holds many secrets and fights a darkness that threatens to overtake him. When his secret comes out, Isadora is shocked. The betrayal is far reaching. However, there are things worth fighting for. The series keeps getting better and better. I didn’t see some of the secrets revealed, coming. Isadora has a lot of enemies being who and what she is. The battles she has had to fight has given her a backbone, finally. It serves her well in this story. It was rewarding to watch Isadora change into a strong woman who will be queen. It was also interesting to watch Demetrius fight his feelings. The reader is lead to believe the feelings he has had in the first two books, that sneaky author. Then surprise! It is revealed there is a huge reason for his behavior. The book was quite the ride. It’s my favorite one so far. I give it a 4 out of 5.

Love this temptation
This was another great book in this series. I always like the guardians and the fact that you get a look into the mythology that it is based on. The characters are all very tortured in one way or another whether they deserve to be or not, this just makes them seem more human. The story moves along at the perfect pace allowing for changes in venue and character as they fill us in on what is happening. The language never fails to entertain with words that seem to be pulled out of the past. I was pulled in and not allowed to stop except for those emotional moments I could not help it. Isadora is a princess who always finds herself in trouble. She has been kidnapped and is about to be sent to the enemy, Atalanta, for what she is not sure. The witches, one of whom is her handmaiden, have given her a potion so she can be taken a man she does not want. Their plans are thwarted when the guardians, including Demetrius, arrive to rescue her and are met with serious resistance. When Demetrius takes her and Gryphon through a portal they end up in the last place they should and find themselves taken captive by Atalanta. Demetrius has been hateful to Isadora all of her life but the person he truly hates is himself. Demetrius has been hard on himself for something that he could not change anymore than anyone could their origin. I am so into these stories because I feel so deeply about the characters. These stories have intrigue, romance, hatred, myth, warriors, damsels in distress, and heroes galore. Definitely give it a try.

I love these Guardian's - they are such well written hero's and you just know they would melt your panties! There is plenty of romance in the books but also a really good story that had me reading this in one sitting! The characters are well written, believable and easy to like and since it is a fantasy book then there is not problem believing the story lines! The first book in the series is free - this was well written enough that I bought book 2 then book 3 (this one) and book 4 etc. I plan on buying ALL the books in this series as I consider it well worth the money.

This series goes from strength to strength, I am loving it. This time it's the wonderfully dark gladiator, Demetrius and the Argolean princess, Isadora. In previous books Demetrius spurns Isadora and, in fact, is downright nasty towards her, even refusing to be bound to her and in this book we get to know his secret and it's a shocker. This book kept me interested from the start and I just could not put it down, even whilst on the deserted island, where it tended to drag just a little, it still kept me intrigued. Demetrius is just so dark and moody and Isadora goes from a timid princess, who is constantly pushed around to a strong, believable ruler. I am loving this alternate world and cannot wait to start the next in the series.
