American made plywood with solid fir core and maple veneer on both front and back. Front veneer is "A" quality, reverse veneer is "1" quality, which is similar to BB grade in Baltic birch products. What's key to this product, especially for laser cutting, is that it uses no added urea formaldehyde. The glue is soy-based, so it cuts like butter. Glowforge owners can cut this easily on 160 speed at full power. Thickness is .20. so not a full 1/4 inch. Veneer is unfinished, but with a bit of 220 sanding, it becomes a stunning piece of wood-art. Unlike Baltic birch, this product has beautiful grain and figure to the wood. It really is beautiful. 6 pieces of 12' x 24" plywood.
