Fun versatile bite sized light
I got about a week of use on this light before the review. The unit seems well built, nothing shaking about. the accessory pack and camera mount it comes with is fantastic and I use it as a phone mount/monitor holder as well. The unit is silent and has no electrical hum which is a plus at this price range.I'm finding that this is wonderful to stick into nooks and back lighting products or backdrops in a closed environment, I tape it to things since its so light. The light can be dimmed to comfortable levels for interviews and isn't abrasive to look at from the front, another plus. The only problem I have is the diffusing face plates stay on almost too well. I have to get a coin or other flat metal object to change them. Good for someone shooting guerrilla not so good for studio work if the color temp needs to be changed frequently. I use my own gels most of the time so its not an issue for me personally.I really like it. Would recommend! Especially since the accessories provided are multi use!

Incredibly handy to always have with you!!
For starters this LED light may be small but it sure is powerful! The attached picture was shot at 1/250 f1.4 iso400 in a completely dark room. The light was about 5 feet and on the lowest setting. My One camera is a Canon 5D Mark 3 and it really seeks in low light. (But this image was shot with my Sony a7iii.) This little light is going to be great for illuminating my subject so I'm not doing battle with my autofocus!! The accessories have been very well thought through. It has an internal magnet which I thought was a cool idea but I really been using it more than I ever thought I would. I have an LED panel that I paid over $100 for that's much bulkier and I'd say this throws out about the same amount of light. it's great that I can just throw it in my pocket and go. I belong to a volunteer group of photographer's who have to go into very delicate situations and photograph families grieving. I always feel very awkward when I drag in my large LED panel and big stand or small strobes. With this I no longer have to come in with all this big equipment and be a disruption for that family. (Although typically I'm only photographing the baby and the parents head and shoulders.) The battery life seems good, I I've been playing with it a lot this week and I have yet to charge it. I'm very excited about this little LED panel!!

Extremely reasonably priced and versatile micro light for vlogs, videos, and photos!
For you impatient people:Pros:• Great light quality. The tint is neutral, and renders colours very nicely. The included diffusers do a good job at evening out the light, and I haven’t had any problems with jagged/uneven shadows.• Micro-usb rechargability is extremely convenient. You can also charge while you use the light.• Very reasonably priced, great overall quality for the money.• Lots of useful accessories included.• Stepless/variable brightness.• No flickering on any brightness setting, with multiple different cameras/devices and shutter speeds.Neutral:• All plastic construction, don’t think this will stand up to much abuse.• Open air vents let heat out, but will also let dust and moisture in. Probably won’t be very resistant to adverse conditions.• Filters/diffusers fit on very tightly. Good if you don’t plan on doing much swapping as they won’t be getting knocked off accidentally.Negatives:• I’ve frequently found the dimmest setting is still too bright when using this as an accent light or for super close-up photography. Not a tremendously big deal over all, but something nice to see changed in the future. For the price, this is a tremendous performer and will be an excellent addition to any photographer or videographer’s gear bag. As a primary light for a vlog setup, an accent or fill light for photos, or to add a little interest in the background of your frame, this little guy opens up many opportunities. Despite it’s brightness, I prefer to use this at closer distances (< 5’) to keep the light a little more diffuse. The included phone clamp makes this a breeze to attach to your phone or small camera, and will instantly improve the quality of your vlogs (throw it on a Fotopro Mogo for a winning combo). The variable brightness means you will be able dial in the right amount of light (for the most part, more on that later). Unlike other reviews here, I have not had any problems with flickering despite having tried all brightness settings, on several different cameras, and with multiple different frame rates. The included hardware and brackets aren’t the highest quality items, but considering the price they are excellent! The light can be mounted to your phone, your camera, on a tripod (with built in 1/4-20 threads), and will even stick to surfaces magnetically! If you’re new to the world of off-camera lighting, this is an excellent way to see what your light is doing before your shot and adjust accordingly. I’ve found this to be an absolutely fantastic tool for product and macro photography, and frequently as a primary light source, or to fill in shadows. While there are more expensive lights with a similar footprint, the overall quality and price of this light make it a real winner weather If you’re a shooter on a budget or are looking for a cheap way to spice up your photos or video. My only negative points are very minor in nature, and really only nit picks. This product isn’t perfect, but considering the price they are completely acceptable. The biggest issue I’ve had with this light is that I find it’s just a little bit too bright for super close up use when you just want to use it as an accent light. This can be solved by changing camera settings, but not super great if you’re working with another light source. To be expected with a sub $30 light, the construction is almost entirely plastic. Coupled with the open vents on the sides of the light, this really won’t be able to take a lot of knocks, bumps, dust, or moisture. Keep that in mind and treat it accordingly, and this light will work be a solid performer. If you anticipate having to change diffusers/filters often, they are very snug and difficult to get off; they won’t be coming off accidentally

VERY BRIGHT, and enough to light up your face or maybe even the room BUT...
very bright for its compact size, almost too powerful. The problem is the lowest power setting is still too bright. I wish the light could be dimmed further down. However, i should also note that for the purposes I bought it for-which is recording during the day when natural sunlight is behind me and i hoped that this light would light up my face when my back is facing the windows (so that i can record myself as well as outside through the windows) it didn’t work for me. During the day when there was sufficient natural light entering the room, the lighting from the device was negligible unless i held it too close to my face which doesn’t make sense. At night though, the lighting it provides seem sufficient to add some illumination to your face etc. in any case, sadly i dont think i’ll be using it. but i dont think it has anything to do with the device, it’s just how the physics for lighting and illumination work.
