Amazing
I'm relatively new to Vampire the Masquerade and I had a PDF of the corebook, but nothing is more satisfying than having the books in front of you. Plua free PDF access was a nice surprise too! I love these books and I'm so excited to play some VTM!

An honest and innovating attempt at updating VtM for a new generation
Paradox/WW via Mophidius publishing has delivered a fresh and original new setting and system for the classic horror table-top game, (and yes, controversial, but if it weren't controversial then it wouldn't be Vampire the Masquerade). As with many new editions, there are those who love it, and those who hate it; but there are also those, like myself, who like what this new edition has to offer: a streamlined (at last) vampire disciplines system, a much more thematic Hunger system, (which replaces all those square blood pool tracking) and a much needed update to the meta-plot, (powerful Elders are vanishing, the Sabbat is on the defensive and on the brink of destruction). Anarchs have been significantly improved and its clear that its the sect you want to play; you are the new vamps on the block; you eschew the monolithic and stratified structure of the Camarilla. Perhaps the most innovative and exciting aspect of 5th edition, (at least for me) is that it truly brings vampires back as undead, bloodsucking monsters, (touchstones, new feeding system, predator types and beliefs) as opposed to trench coats and katanas. The world seems bleak and much darker, (as it reflects our own world of one percenters sucking the world of its limited resources). Overall, much like what D&D has accomplished with its fantastic 5th edition, Vampire now joins a new modern revitalization that lends itself to classic horror storytelling. I predict that this edition will win awards and will bring back, (as it did with me) many fans of the 1st and 2nd edition.
