This is okay. They shouldn't market this as a "silent" clock, because it's not. It's pretty quiet, though, maybe as quiet as you can get and not be plugged in to the wall.

It's a clock. It does what it should do and looks good doing it. The alarm is good too.

PROS: Cute (attractive design) ..... small ..... SILENT!!!! (= no ticking sounds) ..... keeps good time ..... easy to set ..... alarm is reasonably loud ..... the press-on light gives enough illumination to discern the time when room is dark.NEUTRAL: Alarm is *not* what I would call "super-loud," as product description states (but that works for me, bc super-loud is too jarring for me).CONS: (1) The light gives very little illumination, and mosty in the upper-right corner, so it's tough to check the time in the dark.(2) The light itself shines in the upper right, near the 2, but the button is in the upper-left, by the 11 -- not a huge deal, but a little counter-intuitive.(3) Clock seems a little less sturdy than I thought it would be, but it's probably about as sturdy as a $10 plastic clock can be. Might crack if it's shoved, with force, onto or into a hard surface; would probably survive a gentle 3-ft fall from nightstand to floor.(4) I HATE the logo in the middle of the clock -- ugly font, and it's too big. Detracts from an otherwise attractive design. (I knew this would be so, because the image shows the logo clearly, but for $10, I was willing to put up with the ugly logo. A shame, tho, that a company that cared enough to make an otherwise attractive product was so design-blind in this regard.)

I love this thing. I can see it from across the room, even though it's small. It doesn't make a peep, or my husband would smash it. Looks great in my retro infused kitchen, on my tiny window sill amongst my flowerpots. LOVE.

Easy to read clock and is quiet. It is bigger than I wanted. Wish it were about 2" x 2" instead of 3. Other than the size, it's exactly what I wanted. I haven't used it as an alarm clock so I can't report on that aspect.

It was strangely hard just getting the battery in the clock. Then about a week later the clock started rattling and I had to throw it away.

When I opened the box the second hand wasn’t attached to the clock, was pretty easy to open up to try to fix but then the flimsy wires broke almost suddenly. Now non returnable and not working. Wish I would’ve bought a different clock.
