This is by far the finest radio Samcom has produced in their family of Radios. This one has GPS fixed locations within and outside of 5 mile radius , waterproof ,solid well built, 2000 MaH battery to give you plenty of hours of talk time . you can custom name channels, and I’m sure the distance and receive are equally as impressive as the rest of the family highly recommend recommended to anyone who wants to give this Radio a try? I found these radios to be of high quality construction. As a result, they are heavier and somewhat larger than expected. The quality continues to the most important function: voice transmission. Clear and excellent voice quality is a strong plus. I have not tested extended range but expect it to be superior. I intend to use these units around water as a licensed fly fishing guide so water resistance is important. In all, you get what you pay for and these units are a good value for the money.

We love these SamCom 2 way Radios finally after trying 5 different types of walkie talkies from Amazon these are by far the best and easiest to use, I purchased them on special price amazon was running and wish now I got 3 more do not hesitate to try. They were easy to set up and very durable the reach from place to place is amazing and clear we use these every day. We use for Travel and work around our farm, and we have drop and notice they are also durable. The other 5 set were top brand but lasted maybe 3 months of everyday use these have by far out done them all.

WOW !!! These radios are the best. I’ve bought several brands over the past years , and nothing comes close. I have 10 WATT RADIOS THAT DO NOT TALK AS FAR NOR AS CLEAR AS THESE !! And customer service is the very best. I had s recording of me driving 6 miles away and still TBEY we’re coming in clear. I’m telling you if you want a radio that simply works. Buy these. I will be buying more of these in the future. And I will not be changing brands ever again trying to find a better radio. They do not come any better than the SAMCOM RADIOS. LET ME mention also , that the battery life is awesome. Also TBEIRS a high and low setting. I mainly use the low setting , but if I need to talk to someone 6 plus miles away. Tbe high setting has no problem reaching them. Tough. Durable radios that actually work !!! I’m gonna try to put another video together and get it posted. I had this problem where members in our camping group would wonder off and go hiking but not understand their limits. They would travel a few miles on the path and then realize that they were getting tired and then head back. However when you live in New Mexico with the desert heat, they would learn all too fast that making it back when you start to feel tired is not a good idea. So they would wonder back barely able to walk and I often got worried when they were gone passed an hour over time. So I bought a pair of walkies for about $100 at another store. They would not work past the field and the second they were out of sight I could hear nothing. Now I thought this was a lost cause without a HAM radio set at base camp. Well enter these beauties. To test I had the group stay at camp and I went for a walk on the trails checking in about every 2 minutes. I got pas a mile and I was still able to hear them perfectly with no issues. At that point I turned around and said... perfect. Hiking groups got between 2-3 miles away and I was still able to hear them and when they issues, get in the old truck and pick them up. So for my use, these things are exactly what I needed.

These are great radios. Great price. Longer range and secure communications. Digital display. Easily programmable with the cable and free programming software. Samcom has great customer service and responsiveness. Purchasing may more soon for our school and church security team.
