on the move i like to hear a whole heap of reggae and dub, so little need to explain the bass is the thing for me. as previous 'phones have all fell victim to the bass or just couldn't get it up for the bass, i thought i'll give these a shot by way of trying to find the best match for my sony walkman (don't check me with no ipods neither!) without paying out a fortune (often to be let down) to experiment. so, after they arrived nicely packaged and supplemented with a whole host of buds to obtain the ideal fit fur yer lugs, i set up a test under laboratory conditions to see if these can really handle the bassics. all set, i cranked up the walkman (already set to bass!) and roadtested them with the following samples;i/ a selection from 'this is augustus pablo' - if the 'phones can't handle this, then they're scrapped! however these coped with the stylings of family man, fully and lloyd with ease, producing a rich, healthy sound. good start.ii/ up a notch then to selections from jimmy radway's 'dub i', to find the 'phones keeping the lid on family man's pounding assault on these brutal bombastic dubs. yup, so far so good.iii/ from out of the lead box i keep it in, the ultimate test for the bassabilities - selections from mr spaulding's 'twelve tribes of israel' - bass that could demolish buildings unleashed and, i have to say contained admirably by these budget priced earphones - yes, impressed!for the price, and if you enjoy the bass as much as i do (and don't check for no footery prog!), these are a no brainer purchase. ridiculous bargain!only thing is - when does the feeling return to my numb head?

Needed a new pair of earphones for listening to music on my train journey to work and the reviews looked pretty good for these and they were reasonably priced. My choice of music for the journey can vary from Classical Crossover to Heavy Metal depending on how the mood takes me so earphones have to be pretty flexible.Once I'd found the right settings on my phone these appear to give a good all round sound with pretty much anything I'm listening to. The bass delivery is way more than the standard earphones that came with my Samsung A5 but if anything it's too bassy, I've had to wind the bass down on the phone to get a sound I like and I know that for certain albums I'll probably have to play around with the settings even more.I haven't given just four stars for the overall sound as I do really like them but I took one star off as once the bass is wound down a bit you really have to up the volume to get a good level. With the Samsung supplied earphones I never took the safety lock off the volume but with these I had to and I've had to go several clicks past it. What worries me is if I switch back to the Samsung supplied earphones and don't change the settings I'm likely to blow my head off.Very comfortable in use and they feel well made.

Overwhelming bass heaviness spoils these somewhat. They’re great if you’re listening to classical music, terrible if it’s anything with a constant kick drum in it as they’re just SO BASS HEAVY. The treble is there and nice without being spiky, but the midrange is just overtaken completely by the bass.That said, they get an extra star for being so well made from nice materials and for being cheap as chips to buy. I’m fairly certain there’s people out there who just want BASS and not much else, but I prefer my headphones to be a bit more balanced across the whole range. These are about as far away from my Grado’s and Philips HD headphones as you can get (both in price and sound quality).Cheap enough to leave in a train if you forget them, but not a lot more to recommend them on.

A very well packaged quality item. Everything comes fitted inside a small flat box which comes inside a carboard sleeve. Inside the earphones are neatly held in place with a protective sleeve over the headphone jack. There is a bag of replacement ear adapters, a clip to attach to the lead if needed, and pouch to put your earphones in when not using them. Sound quality is great with good bass and I have had no issues with the comfort, fit, or use of the earphones.

I use these while out dog walking. The sound quality is as good as any in ear headphones I have bought since they were invented. Excellent bass. Mid and top end clear but bear in mind my hearing is not what it was. For the money, these are fantastic, as good as name brands costing far more. They stay in my ears quite well but all brands fall out if my ears after a while. Cut out external noise too well! I can't hear cars coming! No independent volume control which is fine by me. Thoroughly recommend.

These headphones are great! My son is delighted with them. He tells me that the sound is clear, the earbuds are extremely comfortable and don't hurt his ears after prolonged use. The fact that they came with other replacement buds and sizes really impressed him. He likes them so much he's still got them and uses the, everyday, which sounds silly until you know that he was going through two pairs each month as others just 'weren't right' and he would often 'lose' an earbud! Therefore, I would say they we're a win for him and my wallet!!

These are the best set of earphones I have had to date.the bass is the best too.very pleased with my purchase.Update.I have had these for a while now and I must say they are still the best I have had so far.if its rich sounding bass you are looking for then these are just great.I will buy these again if needs be.
