This beautiful hand carved small eagle sculpture is beautifully detailed. The artist workmanship is very evident in this wonderful figurine! The craft has been developed over three generations, beginning in 1939, when re-settled, Italian sculptures taught the forefathers the beautiful ageless art of carving marble. The marble used is fossiliferous marble which is approx. 1500 years old and has a 3 to 4 grade in strength of the stone.
