I have a Bosch washing machine and a different make tumble dryer and my stacking kit works perfectly
So I can’t see any reason why it shouldn’t work for your appliances 
The kit comes with a strap and that goes around both machines to secure them together
It a great kit

Does this stacking kit require being screwed to either the washing machine or dryer?

No, it doesn’t actually screw to either machine. I have a Bosch series 6 washing machine on the bottom. The stacking kit/platform sits on top perfectly with a little lip the length of each side to stop it moving from side to side. There is a tether point at the middle back of the kit to tether it to a screw you need to drill into the wall behind, then the dryer (ours is a Zannusi) is placed on top. The side edges are higher than the platform where the feet of the dryer stands, like a lip to stop it moving sideways again. And then there is a ratchet strap which goes from one side underneath the washing machine and up the other side and over the top of the dryer. You ratchet the strap with the ratchet on the top of the dryer. This holds both machines together tightly. I was nervous buying this due to it being an unknown product to me, but I’m so glad I got it. It’s been a great purchase and the drawer pulls out easily and is invaluable when loading and unloading the dryer. I know I’ve answered more than the specific question, but I thought the extra info might be useful.
